Why would Jesus raise people from the dead? Because not everyone

dies in God's timing. To think that everything that happens is

God's will is to completely misunderstand God's sovereignty.

He is not willing that anyone perish, yet people perish.

Regarding David and Bathsheba: David lost the battle with his eyes,

which opened the door for him to lose the battle over his

heart, all because he was not in the battle he was born for.

When you turn away from the battle you're assigned to, you

face the battle you're not equipped for. (1 Sam. 11:1)

Worshipers can be trusted to go through a Valley of Weeping because

they'll turn it into a Resort. Ps. 84:6

Before God, I'm an intimate. Before people, I'm a servant. Before thepowers of hell, I'm a ruler, with no tolerance for their

influence. Wisdom knows which role to fulfill at the proper

    time." from Dreaming with God

Jesus took what I deserved so I could get what He deserved.

If we understand everything that happens in our Christian life we have

an inferior Christian life. We don't want a God fashioned into

our image. The unexplainable (mystery) is vital from One so

    filled with wonder.

What's really sad is that believers think that earthquakes, wars, and

famines are the will of God. When He said these things He

wasn't giving us a promise. He was describing the conditions

of the war he sent us into that we might understand the

challenge given for world changers. We must discern the

difference between the promise that reveals His heart and the

warning of the conditions of the war we are assigned to.

I will not embrace any theology of the last days that does not take faithto obtain.

It's hard to speak of the price we pay when we get Him in the exchange.

Faith doesn't come from the mind. It comes from the heart. Yet a

renewed mind will enhance faith while the un-renewed mind

    wars against it.

Some people need a theology of an angry God to justify their

    anger against sinners.

Those crying out for significance are the most vulnerable to the

urgent. A false sense of importance is then created

through much activity. True significance is not found,

it finds us as we give ourselves to our divine purpose.

Persistance in prayer doesn't change God. It shapes us for the

    answer.

There is no peace where there is no trust.

"God doesn't deal the hand, He wins with every hand He's

    dealt."

He hides us out of reach, not out of sight.

The tendency to embrace the concept of God being an angry

Father is done in equal proportion to a person's

inability to demonstrate His purity and power. There

is a connection between what we believe and what

actually flows through us. If we don't see Jesus' life as

ultimate illustration of the will of God, we will

continue to undermine our ability to display it.

Fear often looks like wisdom to those in unbelief.

What's more powerful, the Word from the Father through the

mouth of Jesus or through your mouth? The power is

not in the mouth, it's in the Word.

Humility & loyalty in the context of a forgiving culture can

    change anything.

When I live out of discipline, I'm admired. When I live out of

    passion, I'm contagious.

    Passion produces the best discipline.

Every loss is temporary, every victory is eternal.

    Faith offends the stationary.

If you watch what you think, you won't have to watch what

    you say.

Jesus is returning for a bride whose body is in equal

    proportion to her Head.

Faith provides eyes for the heart. Faith sees.

You have authority over any storm you can sleep in.

He calms the storm inside of us so we'll calm the storm outside

    of us.

It's hard to calm a storm you're not in. But being in the storm

makes fear very accessible. Keeping ourselves in the

quiet of God's Love settles the issue as perfect love

casts out all fear, and the faith that calms the storm

    works through love.

Those who think their intellect will keep them from deceptionare already deceived.

'If you want to catch the attention of the King, treat his

    daughter well'

For the believer most closed heavens are between the ears.

It's tragic when the great promises of God get pushed off into a

period of time for which we have no responsibility.

One of the greatest tragedies in the Christian life is to see

soldiers of God go to bed night after night with noblood on their swords.

God is always good, but good is not always God.

It's very strange to read of believers who try to find the "fine

print" that makes the devils work unavoidable and

    approved by God.

It's very strange to read of believers who try to find the "fineprint" that makes the devils work unavoidable and

    approved by God.

Use your authority over the powers of darkness now. It won't

do you any good in heaven . . . unless God let's you

    take a field trip. :-)

For the believer every year is the Year of Jubilee. Every day is

a Day of Rest. And every hour is Happy Hour.

    Realities are released in words.

I pay no attention to the warnings of possible excess from those

    who are satisfied with lack.

The wineskin serves only one purpose - to preserve the wine.

The wine is always the treasure. All government and

structure is to accommodate the expanding nature ofthe Holy Spirit. If it doesn't do that, it fails.

Power is the evidence Jesus being the Christ according to Jesus

Himself. A study of the gospel of john shows that the

works of the Father are miracles. John 10:37

The hungry listen to learn. The satisfied listen to critique.

    Fear and arrogance are friends.

While faith brings answers, enduring faith brings the answer

    with character.

Only enduring faith taps into the mystery of compound

    interest.

I don't fast to pay a price. The price has been paid. I fast to

refine my focus so that I might more fully apprehend

    all that has been purchased.

The enemy lies to us to make problems appear bigger than the

    solutions we carry.

The fear of man can only be where the fear of God should be.

No one was ever discouraged, corrected, or criticized by Jesus

for seeking His gifts. "Seek the giver, not the gift" is a

religious idea that comes from people who fear excess

more than they fear lack. If you happen to find "His

hand" instead of "His face," just look up. They're not

    that far a part.

I can't afford to be impressed by the size of a problem.

Fire always falls on sacrifice. Be the sacrifice.

In revival hell is plundered and heaven is populated. Without

revival, hell is populated . . . period.

When a problem arises, whether personal or otherwise, I work

to remain conscious of the Spirit of God upon me. If

the problem gets bigger than my awareness of the

Holy Spirit, I will react to the problem. Living in

reaction to the devil gives him too much influence overour lives. We must live as Jesus did - doing what the

Father is doing. Living in response to God is far

superior than living in reaction to the devil.

Any area of my life for which I have no hope is under the

    influence of a lie.

Compromise is the door through which deception enters.

Abiding faith attracts the promises of God.

People often believe a lie out of their need to feel unique.

God did not promise to answer our prayers once we became

robots. He actually makes Himself vulnerable to the

desires of His people. This is easier to understand in

    friendship over servant hood.

Love serves. But it serves from favor instead of for favor.

In the kingdom of God a mustard seed is bigger than a

mountain, one is mightier than a thousand, and the

lowest place is the highest place of all. Adjust your

    perception until this become logical.

Our maturity is not evidenced by our doctrinal positions.

Maturity is seen by how we treat those who differ from us.

If we rejoice in the acts of God without discovering His ways,

we'll question who He is when He doesn't do what

    we've asked.

Rephrase: after living for three years with a "messiah" from

the Left, I won't be looking for one from the Right. We

must pray and vote responsibly. But I already have a

    Messiah. Jesus.

"Sickness is the foul offspring of its father Satan, and it's

    mother sin." John Alexander Dowie

Leaders who want a culture of honor so they'll be treated

better miss the point. Honor is the atmosphere in

which the people of God become their best.

To not give to the poor because of a fear they will misuse the

money is a misuse of the money.

Some will give to the poor when they feel led. Others

automatically give unless God tells them no. I prefer to

    be in the latter group.

I live without options. Nothing can change that. And while I

realize that if Jesus suffered persecution, I will too.

But He was perfect. I am not. Learning from

opposition is one of the more difficult but rewarding

    tasks in ministry.

It takes courage to expect the best. Anyone with unbelief can

    expect the worst.

In the absence of faith there is disobedience.

If faith is hard, God is hard to please, because "without faith it

is impossible to please Him." (Heb. 11:6) But if faith is

normal for the believer then God is easy to please.

Sometimes instead of answering a prayer the Lord gives us a

promise that we might learn how to fight the fight of

    faith.

I don't listen to warnings about excess from people that

are satisfied with lack! Bill Johnson

I fear lack more than I am concerned about excess.

If you live cautiously your friends will call you wise but you

won't move many mountains. Bill Johnson

If you can learn how to handle appearing wrong when you're

not, you'll not have to be wrong to learn how to handle

    appearing wrong

If those who don't walk with God can do miracles (matt. 7:22)

then those who do walk with God are without excuse.

A powerless church has nothing for the devil to counterfeit.

The authority over demons is for now. It won't do us any good

in eternity, unless God lets us go on a field trip. :-)

The Holy Spirit is in me for my sake, but upon me for yours.

If it matters to you it matters to Him.

When Jesus said, "in the last days there would be wars and

rumors of wars . . ." He was not giving us a promise. He

was defining the conditions into which He was sending

    His last days transformational army.

Every loss is temporary. Every victory is eternal.

A government can only prosper when it's citizens prosper,

otherwise the governments gain will be short-lived,

destroying it's only source of income . . . the people.

Increase the taxes on the rich? What happens if they keep theirmoney? They'll spend it, invest it, or save it. What do

you think will help the economy?

Did you know there are people who think they know what kind

of car a pastor should drive? What a complete waste of

heart and mental energy! When asked about a ministry

situation, I responded, "no one can make me have and

opinion on that." Pour yourself into where you have

    responsibility and influence.

We don't have the capacity to exaggerate God's goodness. We

can distort it, or even misrepresent it, but we can never

    exaggerate it.

People without experience have many interesting theological

    theories.

People without experience tend to be overly confident in theirbeliefs (theories.) People with experience tend to be

mostly impressed with mystery (what they don't know.)

Many stop short of a divine encounter because they are

satisfied with good theology. The word of God is to lead

us to the God of the word.

Ungodly wealth cannot be measured in numbers. It's theamount that destroys thankfulness and replaces trust.

Living in regret will become your biggest regret.

    Holiness is the ultimate excellence.

When you avoid the battle you were born for you'll face a

battle you're not equipped for. 2 Sam. 11:1-5

You can have a life of understanding and live in a small world,or you have heaven's peace and live in a world without

    limits.

If I lose consciousness of the God that invades the impossible I

will reduce ministry to my ministry gifts.

Christianity was never meant to be recognized by it's

disciplines, but instead by it's passions.

Evangelism, in its purist form, is an overflow of worship.

Delayed answers to prayer are gaining interest. But when God

says "no" it's because a bigger "yes" is to follow.
