Using Cards and Manipulatives to Create a Number

Instructions:

1)pick four cards from the deck of cards2) place these cards where you want them to go on

the place value mat. 3)Take the manipulatives and form the number you

have created with the cards by placing the manipulatives in the bottom row in their correct place values.

4)After you have finished this, write down the number you have created in the small box on the next page

5)Take the stamps, and stamp out the number you created with the manipulative stamps provided.

6)Do it all over again, see how many numbers you can finish before it is time to switch stations!
