Materials, resources and tools to use in class No tool can substitute a teacher. There is a tremendous amount of material and tools available for teachers. Sometimes it is just hard/impossible to keep up with all of them. Materials, resources and tools can be 1. Present in every class. The teacher tries to work in cross-curricular activities together with other colleages: kid constructions (c hildren enjoy time to design, explore, create and build), kid theatres , puppets , stories, wax crayons, puzzles , disguises and costumes, colour chalks, thematic printables or worksheets, etc. 2. Specific for English such as: text books, extra material, adapted stories, videos, DVD material, audiovisual materials (photos, flashcards, worksheets, CD, etc.) 3. Audiovisual tools (TV, projector, video, digital camera, video camera, CD player, etc.) 4. ITC tools (computer/ laptop, ipads, Electronic Board, specific software, etc.) 5. Realia (coins, fruits, masks, cut outs, magazines, postcards, recipients, dolls, stikers , etc.) 6. Material elaborated by students , probably the most important (drawings, cards, masks , collages, stories, class video recordings, class audio recordings, games, etc.) TASK: 1. Materials, resources and tools to use in class
