Luncheon Set Good Shepherds Scapulars Flowers from Mrs. Jackson Mr. Macpherson Mr. Geo. Finch And Egil Boeckmann Cards from Mrs. Morrison Nellie Tierney, Miss Trott Geoffrey OConnell December 26, Monday Today is a legal holiday yet there seems to be considerable business doing. Mrs. Finch and George came in. Theodore Schurmeier came in for Tea. So did Mr. and Mrs. Elliott and Lou. Forepaugh. Went into see Mrs. Morrison this morning found her quite well. December 27, Tuesday This is such a dark day, thick atmosphere. Katherine Abbott and Rachel Abbott came in to hear Mrs. Hoffman play and stayed to luncheon. I went into see Mrs. Lee and came home to straighten out closets after Christmas. December 28, Wednesday A very fine Winter day - took advantage of it and made several visits. Papa is not feeling at his best. We all enjoyed last nights concert (Symphony) Mrs. Rothwell sang and sang well she had a warm reception. December 29, Thursday Colder. Another ideal winter day. At 830 a. m. 6 above, bright sunshine no wind, continued my visits went to see poor Mrs. Hardenberg who has lost sight of one eye and almost that of the other. Clara and Rachel danced at Mrs. Boeckmanns. Papa and I had a quiet evening laying out puzzle blocks. December 30, Friday This is a beautiful morning at 9 a. m. just two above zero but such bright sunshine and no wind. December 31, Saturday The last day of 1910 is mild and thawing. I made a few visits. Took a drive to the River. The girls and Maud are busy arranging nonsense for the evening party and I took myself out of the way seeing that they wished to surprise me too. Before dinner I sent greetings to all the absent and to the Thornes and to F. B. Clark. {on page for Memoranda} Mrs, Emma [Raguet?] 523 3rd. Street South Stillwater Minn.
