Current Work Activities; As Information and Business Systems Manager I manage the IT department and business systems for Tui Products Limited. My primary role with Tui is to ensure IT business strategies; operations are aligned with IT projects and within budget. Effective ‘Program Project Management’ is a key success factor for success in this role. Redefining business processes to improve efficiencies throughout the business that support Tui’s growth strategy. I have a holistic view of business units, analyse processes and provide solutions to streamline business activities that require redesigning. I manage a range of contracts for the IT department.

Personal Attributes and Values;I have a lot to offer and drive to always strive to work smarter not harder; I finished a MBA ‘Masters in Business Administration’ program in August 2014. I am a happy positive person with a great sense of humour. I have exceptional people, analytical and problem solving skills. My strengths are the ability to see inefficiencies in a business and implement solutions. Good working relationships with both internal and external customers help me get the desired results. I look at process from an ‘outside in’ approached which is highly focused on adding value to the customer and breaking down the un-necessary activities. I thrive in a team environment and also can work independently when required. I believe in learning environments that share knowledge for effective learning.

The Infor LN software implemented is a full system solution; modules including, manufacturing, planning, accounting, sales, EDI communication, finance, business intelligence, process management and security. The business process mapping provided the needs analysis for best fit solution for Tui Products. Post go live (01/07/2011) my focus has now turned from implementation to ‘change management’ and ‘continuous improvement ‘and operational efficiencies. Tui’s year-end stock has seen a 200% improvement since the introduction of LN and its transparency of inventory.

Project Scoping and Business Process Analysis to understand deliverables and what strategies to take to for successful outcomes. All projects have been based on meeting strategic direction and improve operations with bottom up and customer focus while meeting overall business objectives

Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) for business to business (B2B) for sales orders in, advance shipment notice and invoicing for top suppliers (Mitre10, Bunnings and The Warehouse). The

implementation reduced time by not keying in orders into the system and directly available for warehouse to pick. The EDI improved operation by reducing keying errors; less credits; increased efficiencies in DIFOT of weekly orders. EDI added value by, reduced staff numbers, customer service role changed to be less data entry work and more time focusing on customers’ requirements.

Business Intelligence (Infor PM10) BI) and OLAP reporting, used throughout the company and now have mobilised our sales force with I-pad’s to access live data at their fingers to improve customer satisfaction. Business Intelligence also provided Tui with transparency to data for informed business analysis to measure performance and make better informed decisions. As a result, better bottom line. Cubes developed for finance, production, freight and sales.

Document Control Software implemented to standardise the outputs for both internal and external customers. We automated the delivery by reducing the need to handle invoices, advance shipment notices, statements and consignment notes. Tui is currently sourcing software for the automation the incoming delivery from different formats that will decode, supplier invoices; purchase orders and sales orders.

Freight Management System Freight management system implemented to analyse cost and save on freight, a direct bottom line saving. Pallet program saved the logistics one day a week in data entry. Freight module allows Tui to analyse fright for better decision making and cost savings. Tui freight is a 4 million overhead to the business and on track for a 4 % saving (160K). The freight system also allows visibility to manage carrier’s contracts, analyse customer orders in regards to pricing

Operational ManagementContract Management Sourced and manage contracts for ICT operations including SLA agreement for Network support, SQL support, Mobile, Internet and Voice. I’ve built strong relationships with suppliers, developers and business consultants to achieve top results. Savings have been made by minimising downtime of servers,

Relocation of IT systemsJune 2014, Tui moved head offices premises, centralised North operations to a centralised warehouse. . Software upgrades to latest version, hardware upgraded and migrate to virtualised servers; move small business server and exchange to the cloud.
