MGP Workshops

The Cavaliers, in partnership with Hennessy, teamed up with the Marcus Graham Project (MGP) to host a weekend-long Sports Market ing Workshop for diverse professionals. The workshop was part of the Cavaliers 11th annual Black Heritage Celebration (BHC). A limited number of registered applicants were selected to participate in the free workshop. We will continue workshops in 2016 and beyond.

THE GO FUND The purpose of the GO fund is to provide financial resource to applicants interested in attending traveling to the often cost prohibitive industry conferences, training seminars, networking functions and educational courses.  Through the generosity of sponsors, members of our community, as well as our alumni are able annually attend 4A’s Transformation Conference, Advertising Week, Creative Week, South by Southwest Interactive (sxswi), and ADCOLOR. GO Fund Scholarship: $5,000 (includes travel, lodging, and registration)

THE SOUND BITE As part of the professional development and retention activities of the Marcus Graham Project Alumni Association, the purpose of the program is to continue to connect and engage our alumni with working professionals in the industry in a variety of “lunch & learn” style forums, semi-casual dinners and leadership retreats.
