TRANSCRIPT
March 23rd, 2020Dear Families,
Let me start by saying that I love and miss teaching your children, and that I am so
sorry our year together has unexpectedly changed due to circumstances out of our
control. I hope that this packet finds everyone in your household well.
I want you to know that I take teaching your child very seriously. At this time, I’m
unsure if this change in education is going to provide too much work, or not enough
work for you child. Please keep in mind that we are all learning together. If you feel
like you child needs more work, or if you need help with the work that is provided,
please reach out to me. You can contact me through my email at
[email protected], or message me on our Class Dojo. We are in this
together, and I will do all I can to make this change as easy as I possibly can.
There are several reading and math resources available online that I have included,
but I am not sure of your internet situation to be able to use those resources. Do not
feel that your child has to do the online work, I was trying to provide alternative
resources so your child can continue his or her education at a pace that fits his or
her individual needs. I am including a list of your child’s log-in information to these
sites. I will also be posting to our Class Dojo and Google Classroom daily to provide
your child with an opportunity to hear me read stories, complete some of the
activities I’ve provided, and to ask fun questions for your child to respond to. I
cannot stress enough that you do not have to let your child participate in these
online learning resources. I just want to allow the students to interact with me as
much as possible during this time.
Again, if you have any questions, concerns, or comments please reach out.
All My Best,
Amber Nold

GRADEI have prepared and included as many resources as I could so that your child is not at a
disadvantage because of the closures we are experiencing. The best way I was able to do this
was through the use of online resources and assignments to use with these resources. Along with
these resources, I am also including a suggested schedule.
