Hopefully you and your loved ones escaped the flu bug that went around. We’ve been busy training Stormy, the newest addition to my family, and teaching an irrigation course at Eastern Suffolk Boces. We are now beginning to schedule appointments for spring. We will be following our normal routine for scheduling appointments. Please use the form on the back to request your appointment. As for spring service appointments, as usual our appointments are made by phone, mail, email, fax, or by text to 631-618-8750 (this is not our office number, it’s just a texting app, so please no phone calls to this number). Be sure to send in your form as soon as possible to avoid the spring rush. The best choice is to send them by email to [email protected] . We will reply that we have received your request and you can always check your email for your appointment date. It would be best if you could set up your spring turn-on before you have your lawn seeded or new plants put in. If you are having your lawn treated with chemicals, please do so after you have your sprinklers turned on, as this is safer for us and more effective for your lawn. By law, you must be notified before any chemicals are applied. We ask that you use the opposite page when requesting your appointment. (Please send ASAP). On your form, provide as much information as possible in regards to how we can reach you. Also, make any necessary changes. This is only a tool we use to set our schedules. We will contact you to set up your time of service. We try to schedule appointments by area to save time and fuel costs. Customers who are willing to turn their water valve on in advance will have the option of “whenever status.” This will enable us to get you into the schedule as soon as we are in your area. We will try to get you the WEEK you request, and you will not need to be home or have a scheduled appointment. We will leave a receipt in your mailbox and inform you if additional work is needed. Other customers who MUST have a specific date, please let us know ASAP, and we will do our best to accommodate you. As always if you prefer to be home we will do our best to keep our scheduled time, but keep in mind we have no control over traffic or other factors such as weather. It would be helpful if you could have access areas cleared and payment ready at time of service. If your timer requires a new battery, please have one available. We do carry them if necessary for $8.99. Most are 9 volt square. Obviously we want our customers to be happy with our service, and we are very proud of our reputation as a top quality, personal company who strives to achieve excellence for our customers. We will do our best to see that your sprinkler system provides the coverage you desire. If you are not satisfied with your water management system, or need renovations or upgrades because of landscape changes or dry/wet spots, please make a note, so that we may make any necessary changes this spring. If you are looking to have repairs, renovations, upgrades or any additional services done this year, please make a note so we can discuss it and give you an estimate at time of service. In regards to billing, we are requesting that payment be made on or before the time of service. We accept checks, cash, & all major credit cards. We can also send your bill by email and send you a link to make payments via e-check, or a major credit card. There is also room on the reverse side if you wish to pay in advance via credit card. You will not be charged until after your service. If you cannot pay at the time of service, a $2.00 billing fee will be added to your bill. This fee can be deducted if payment is made within 10 days of service. Please pay from the invoice that is left at your location. If you need help with billing, please call us so we can make arrangements. As always, all unpaid balances are subject to a rate of 2% per month (24% yearly). A $6.00 billing fee and $20.00 late fee will be added to any accounts over 30 days. We are linked to Equifax, so please pay your bill in a timely manner to avoid unnecessary damage to your credit history.
