Just let me know and we’ll make sure you are subscribed. Admissions-Enrollment Our Admissions team has been working hard the past couple of months. The deadline for regular admissions was on January 21 st of this year and to date we have received over 300 applications for the Class of 2019, which is 10% more applications than last year. Based on current trends, we will begin the 2015-2015 school year with a full freshman class (250) and a waiting list. We also currently have 5 international students from China and have been working to increase our international student population to 10-15 for the 2015-2016 school year. Strategic Planning Servite conducted a strategic planning retreat during the first weekend of February, and the Board of Directors approved a strategic plan and strategic financial plan for Servite for the next three to five years. The plan focuses on the student experience, school financial strength, strong faculty, enrollment and mission integration. The plan will be published to the school community in the fall of 2015. Mission Integration Mission integration is the effort to ensure that the Servite charism and mission permeate all aspects of our school and our community, no matter how many professed Servites we have on campus. Mission integration builds on top of the very heavy emphasis the school has already made on the Servite charism and spirituality. The Servite school community has worked hard to use work by the provincial council to articulate values that embody the Servite charism in education. Next steps include approval by the Provincial Council and having stakeholders (i.e. faculty, staff, students, parents, alumni) work out how they will live the charism as members of the community. Campus Ministry and More Karios #48 was held last month at Camp Kuper in Escondido, CA. Kairos #49, which will be at Divine Word Seminary and our Annual Mother-Son Mass and Luncheon will be held in April.
