Maple Systems Light Industrial Panel PCs are ideal for complex automation tasks in industrial manufacturing, processing, and fabrication environments. 03Light Industrial Panel PC Overview

High-Resolution DisplayAll models use color TFTs with maximum resolution to display screens with high clarity. LED backlight provides brightness levels of up to 450 nits and lifespan up to 50,000+ hours.

Rugged ConstructionAll OMI6000 models are made of a die-cast aluminum enclosure and are built to withstand the harsh environments found in industrial sites. Each unit is UL listed and fully certified to meet European CE standards for noise emission/immunity. The compact design ensures trouble-free installation. A thin casing allows units to be installed in panels with less than 3" depth.

Power SupplyAn AC power adapter is included with your Light Industrial Panel PC at no additional cost.

Memory/StorageThe OMI6700 models offer 32 GB SSD and 2 GB of onboard RAM to ensure plenty of memory to run applications. Additional SSD options are available. The OMI6800 models offer 32 GB SSD, and 4 GB of onboard RAM for faster processing and more memory. Similarly, OMI6900 models offer 32 GB SSD, and 8 GB of on-board RAM. Additional SSD options are available.

Accurate TouchscreenThe five-wire analog resistive touchscreen has a touch accuracy of ±2% linearity and a lifespan of over one million activations during normal use.

Advanced ProcessorIntel Dual-Core and Quad-Core processors greatly enhance response time for all processes. Screen updates are immediate, and initialization occurs in seconds.

Aluminum HousingDie-cast aluminum enclosures shield and protect our Light Industrial Panel PCs from external radiated noise.

AudioConnect amplified speakers to the audio port for sound output on all units.

SerialTwo serial ports that support both RS-232 and RS-422/485 connections are used to connect to programmable logic controllers.

Internal SD Card SlotInstall an SD card for backup of important data or additional storage, up to 32 GB.

EthernetWith two Ethernet ports to enhance security, the OMI6000 models can connect to a separate local network and also be used to access the Internet.

USB PortsUSB ports allow third-party applications to take advantage of peripheral devices such as a bar code reader, mouse, or printer.

Microsoft Windows® 7 Standard for Embedded SystemsWindows® Embedded Standard 7 (WSP7) comes standard on all OMI6000 models. It has a smaller footprint than full Windows® and is perfect for all applications that require additional software such as the Windows® Office suite.

Microsoft Windows® 7 Pro for Embedded SystemsWindows® 7 Pro for Embedded Systems (FES 7 Pro) is a full version of Windows® 7 Pro and is available on all OMI6000 models. This powerful operating system will run any program that will run on a PC, including in XP mode. All of the features and functionality that customers expect to find on their desktop PC are available in this version.

Microsoft Windows® 10 IoT Enterprise 2016 LTSB (Available for Embedded & Non-Embedded Systems)Windows® 10 IoT Enterprise 2016 LTSB is a full Professional version of Windows® 10, available on all OMI6800 & OMI6900 models. This powerful operating system delivers enterprise manageability and security to IoT solutions. Additionally, all of the features and functionality that customers expect to find on their desktop PC are available in this version. The Long Term Servicing Branch (LTSB) version ensures lasting stability that critical production systems require by updating only necessary operating system components, with significantly fewer update interruptions.

08 Software Overview

HMI/SCADA Software for Industrial Control Maple Systems recommends award-winning Web Studio©, a powerful HMI/SCADA software package that enables you to create industrial control applications for your industry.

Indusoft Web Studio© development software supports Windows® 7, 8, 10, Windows® Server 2008 and Server 2012.

The development software is used to create th project that resides on the operator interface and operates the target industrial system. In addition to the Panel PC and the user-created application project, each target system requires one Web Studio© runtime license in order to operate the project.

The target system must have one of the operating systems mentioned above or one of the following: Linux, Windows® Embedded Standard 7, or Windows® Embedded Compact (also known as Windows® CE 5.0 or later).

Web Studio© is completely scalable, meaning that an application built for a Windows® mobile device can be scaled up to run on a Windows® Server edition, and vice versa. Web Studio© embedded is a full featured HMI SCADA software with a small footprint.

Software FeaturesWeb Studio© enables you to:

• Create real-time applications that support animated graphic screens, trends, alarms, reports, and recipes

MQTTMQTT stands for Message Queuing Telemetry Transport. It is an emerging IIoT protocol with factory machines. Established cloud compatibility and a lightweight, efficient nature for transporting large amounts of data. All Advanced HMIs and cMT products support the MQTT protocol.

OPC UAOpen Platform Communications (OPC) Unified Architecture (UA) is an IIoT communications protocol supported by many SCADA, MES, and ERP software providers. It features cross-platform interoperability, high security, and proven reliability. OPC UA Server functionality is available in the cMT product line.

SQL DATABASE INTEGRATIONMySQL and Microsoft SQL Server are well supported database options that can be used with our cMT series to help collect and display data for easier monitoring and analytics. They also support a built-in database query viewer which enables production machines to retrieve data from your central SQL database.

cMT VIEWERcMT Viewer is a client application that enables users to view and control cMT devices and screens, quickly and easily. cMT Viewer runs the HMI project on the client device.

Only application data is exchanged between the cMT hardware, acting as a server, and the client device. This enables multiple client devices to connect to a single cMT server with each client device providing an interactive and responsive user experience.

MODBUS GATEWAYModbus TCP/IP is an industry standard communications protocol that uses simple master/slave architecture. Maple Systems HMIs can translate data from legacy PLCs and other devices into this commonly used protocol for efficient data gathering.

VNCAdvanced and cMT HMIs come with a built in VNC (Virtual Network Computing) server. Any third party VNC viewer client can log into a Maple HMI to see and control exactly what's shown on the HMI screen.

Configurable options on the Maple HMI include: set a password, enable monitor mode (view only - no control), allow single connection or multiple connections.
