PRESENTATION

a.50 est compat ible avec les st andards ADEPT Telecom et peut tr e raccord sur le r seau public analogique.Pour le raccordement sur un PABX d autre m arque, vei l l ez vr if ier la compat ibi l i t avec votr e fournisseur

dquipement .

Le post e a.50 comport e une pr i se RJ11 DATA [2] dest ine r accorder un m odem en parallle sur l a l igne.

MISE EN SERVICE

Avant t oute ut i l isat ion ou programmat ion, votre poste a.50 doi t t re a l iment par t ro is p i les de t ype AA

LR6. Celles-ci sont placer dans le compart iment sit u au dos de l appareil . Il est impratif de retirer le

cordon ligne avant d insrer les piles, dans le cas dune premire installat ion ou dun changement de

piles.

Aprs avoir pl ac les piles, raccor dez le cord on ligne , dans la prise [1]. Ce cordon RJ11/ RJ11 sera

enfich dans l adaptateur pour pr ise tlphonique fourni.

Raccordez le cordon du combin, dans la pr i se sur l e ct du poste.

UTILISATION EN POSITION MURALE

Le post e a.50 peut t re mi s en posit ion murale en posit ionnant deux vis murales fournies dans les

emplacement s prvus cet ef fet au dos du post e.

Dcrochez le combin et ret ournez l ergot situ sous la bascule de raccroch [ 18]. Le combin peut alors t re

maint enu raccroch en posit ion murale.

En posit ion dcroch, le combi n peut aussi t re m ainte nu pos sur le post e grce un ergot [19] sit u sur la

part ie suprieure du poste. Le combin prvoit une fente qui vient senf icher sur l ergot poste.

UTILISATION EN MODE CASQUE

Vous pouvez raccorder un casque quip dune prise RJ11 [6] .

La pr ise de l igne et l e raccroch en mode casque s eff ectuent par la touche ;/ [16]. Le combindemeure ut i l isable. Le haut -par leur n est pl us act if en mode casque.

Vous pouvez crer un code qui servira l im it er les appels en int erdisant cert ains prf i xes. Par dfaut , l e

code est 000. Pour modi f ier le code, saisir l e code en cours par ST [10] pour la valeur et [8] pour lavalidat i on. Saisir ensuite l e nouveau code de la mm e faon.

Dfinir les prfixes interdits : Menu OPTIONS > ACTIVER VERROU

Pour df inir les trois prf i xes int erdire, saisissez le code de prot ect i on par ST [10] et [8]. Si le

code est cor rect , saisissez par ST et les 3 prf ixes de 4 caractr es. Un prf ixe int erdit peut t re de1, 2, 3 ou 4 caractres, perm ett ant ainsi des rest r ict ions plus ou moins fort es. Ex.: Le prf ixe 01-- signif ie

PRESENTATION

a.50 is compatibl e wi t h ADEPT Telecom PBXs and can be connected t o t he analogue public t elephone netw ork

(PSTN). Before conne ct ing a.50 t o anot her t ype of PBX, pl ease check compliancy wit h your equipment

supplier.

a.50 includes a RJ11 dat a port DATA [2]. This socket al lows a modem t o be connected on t he l ine.

SETTING UP

Before ini t ial use or programming, your a.50 t elephone must be power ed by t hree LR6 AA batt er ies. They

should be placed in the compart ment on the underside of t he tel ephone. The line cord must be removed

before you insert the bat teries for t he fir st t ime and when you change the batt eries.

Once you have insert ed the bat t er ies, plug t he l ine cord int o the corresponding jack [1] . This RJ11 /RJ11 cord wi l l b e plugged int o the supplied t elephone socket adapt or.

Plug the handset cord int o the corresponding j ack on the side of t he tel ephone.

WALL-MOUNTING

Th e a.50 t elephone can be wall-m ounted by placing the t wo supplied w all-mount ing screws into t he holes on

the underside of the telephone.

Li f t the handset and rotate t he c l ip [18] l ocated below t he handset rest . The handset wi l l then be held in

place when wal l -mounted.

The handset can also be left on the t elephone dur ing a call t hanks t o a cl ip [19] on t he upper part of t het elephone. The handset has a slot for hanging it on t he t elephone cl ip.

HEADSET MODE

A RJ11 connection headset can be plugged [6] .

Picking up and hanging up are made b y ;/ key [16].

In headset mode, handset can st i l l be used. Loudspeaker is not available in t his mode.

NOTES ON BATTERIES AND ENVIRONNEMENT PROTECTION

Never open the bat tery compar tm ent or inser t / change the bat t er ies when the a.50 t elephone is connected

to the te lephone l ine. F i rst d isconnect t he te lephone.

Make sure that the battery polar it ies are correct.

Only use t he recommended bat t ery type, and do not mix d i f f erent t ypes of bat t er ies. Do not m ix new and o ld

bat ter ies.

The battery terminals should not be short-circuited. Do not recharge the batter ies or try to open them.

The batt er ies in your a.50 t elephone must not be thr own int o a f i re. You must di spose of t hem in a dedicated
