Grievance redressal mechanism for faculty, staff and students

Grievance from the faculty, staff and students if any, is directly heard by the

Director or Principal and solved on the spot. Grievances of a serious nature are

taken up at the appropriate level. All academic grievances are solved at the level

of Heads of Departments.

XI. CRITERIA AND WEIGHTAGES FOR ADMISSION

Describe each criterion with its respective weightage i.e. Admission Test, marks in qualification

o Admission Test – Mark in the Entrance Examinations conducted by the

CEE, Govt. of Kerala (50% weightage)

o Marks in the Qualifying Examination –50% weightage for total

mark in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry for the qualifying examination. (Subject to the usual concession

allowed for backward and other communities from time to time) o SC/ST students need only a pass in the qualifying Examination

Mention the minimum level of acceptance, if any.

o The marks in the qualifying examination as prescribed by the Kerala University: -45% in Maths and 50% in Physics and Chemistry put together in the qualifying examination.

Mention the cut-off levels of percentage & percentile scores of the candidates in the admission test for the last three years.

o This is decided by the Commissioner for Entrance Examination, Govt. of Kerala.
