    Learning Outcome Assessment Criteria Guidelines and rangeThe candidate provides evidence that they understand:

    Sources of information on professional development trends in their own profession/industrySuch sources could include publications and other information from:

    %ny comparison would look at stren"ths/ weaknesses& advanta"es/disadvanta"es of eachsource.

    In this criterion the learner is required to compare sources of information on professionaldevelopment trends, and their validity, using at least two sources of information.

    1.' $dentify trends anddevelopments that influence theneed for professional development

    $nformation on trends and developments in their own profession& industry or or"anisation thatcould influence the need for professional development. hese could include chan"es in :

    In this criterion the learner is required to identify at least two trends and/or developments thatcould influence the need for professional development. These should be described.
