e-ShopingVery popular Internet shop selling all kind of building materials. It is based in Brooklyn, USA and has over 75 000 products in its stock.

Task

The task was to implement this site into the Magento System, keeping the same design as it was in the previous version, using all Magento functionality; to add Blog, ColorPicker for paints; to develop the gift certificate functionality; to import all the products to the new Magento version.

e-Shoping• customizing Magento templates and layout, installing custom theme;• adding modules for Blog, ColorPicker;• writing separated modules for the breadcrumbs and the gift certificate; importing

all the products from previous version; • importing and updating products, orders, customers from TrueValue by cron in

real-time.

SOLUTION

All Magento functionality had been used. Specialists have developed new CSS files for editing templates to change block position and colour design solution. New block have been added by writing new .xml files for custom theme.

New modules have been installed to Magento system. The developers have change them to implement into new design decision.

QArea developers have developed new modules for gift certificate and a huge module for importing large data amounts from the old version of the site and for importing products by cron.

RESULT

The new Magento version is more comfortable, it works faster and better than the old version of this site. After moving this site to Magento it has become more popular, attracting more customers and orders.
