INTRODUCTION
Two claims in the easternmost a BC ter of the 3. V.
Bonhomma property in Ogden Township have bean covered by Magnetic
end electromagnetic aurveya. :. ,
The picket linea and survey work were completed in
eerly July, 1981.
The old De Santie gold nine la located aeveral hundred
feet west of the claime.
PRUPEHTY. LDCATlUtt AND ACCESS
The two unpatentad claime, numbered P525987; and P525988,
ara aituatad along the aaat boundary of a i*d ci ala block, in
north-central Ogden Township, held by J. U. Banhoame.
ali thin the city Unite of T lamina, Ontario, the property
ie e few mi lee aouth of the downtown area.
An all-weather gravel road providing access to the
Da Santia wine croaaea the claima. About a mile eeat this roed
cannecte to fine Street South, e main thoroughfare through the
city of Timmlna.
PREVIOUS
In July, 1980, a hole daeignnted 60-1 wee drilled north
from the baae line at 71*00 ens t. No gold values were detected
in the hole drilled to 301 feet in carbonatized intermediate
volcanic rocka.

GECLGOY
Tha claims ara expected to be underlain by dominantly intermediate to "afic volcanics etriklng generally aaat and dip ping flouth at about US degrees.
KAGNCTIC oURt/tY RESULTS AftO INTERPRETATION
The Magnetic aurvey data la plotted end contoured on the accompanying plan at e scale of one inch to two hundred feet. Tha instrument end aurvey method are daecribed in the Appendix to thie report.
The minimal data available on a two da in black doon not lend itself to a detailed interpretation.
A Bouth-southeaaterly trend of the underlying rocke ie indicated by the magnetic contours which contrasts with en easterly trend several hundred feet further weet. Thie deviation ie aup- portive of a diabaae dyke croseing the claims in a north-northwest direction.
ELECTROMAGNETIC SURWY HCSULTS AW INTERPRETATION
The electromagnetic aurvey data ie plotted and profiled on the accompanying plan at a scale of one inch to two hundred feat. The instrument and survey method are described in the Appen dix to this report.
' n eaat-aoutheastarly trending conductor about the centre of claim P525988 pro&ably represente a graphitic horizon as indi cated by drilling to the west.
- 3 -
A weak crossover at station 11 aauth, Una 30 east, cor responds to the diabase dyke contact.
RECEHMEMOATIOHSThe gaaphyaical data Indlcatea that the stratigraphy, aa
outlined by drilling to tha wast, ia continuous acroaa tha claims except where interrupted foy a north-northwest trending diabase dyke.
It is auggeated that no further work bn undertaken on tha claims at this tine.

INSTRUMENT HCTHDD ftND SURVEY DATA
electromagnetic Survey
Any alternating magnetic field will induce an electrical eddy current in the Medium through which the Magnetic field peaeee. If a source of an alternating Magnetic field ie located near a conductive body anomalously atrong eddy curranta will be induced in the dapoeit tfue to ita high electrical conductivity. Electrical currents induced in the conductive body will produce e secondary Magnetic field proportional to the intensity of current flow.
A receiver coil tuned to the frequency of the transmit ting device will pick up both the directly transmitted elgnsl and theeddy current signal.
The slectroMsgnatic unit used in this survey is a Mcftiar unit and consists of a vertically mounted, notor-generator powsred transmitting coil operating at frequencies of 5000 and 1000 cpa. and s receiving coll, tuned to the transmitting fre quencies, an inclinometer, an amplifier and a headset.
Throughout the survey, the transmitter and receiver were
separated by distances of UfiQ, 800 and 1200 feet. The plans of
the transmitter coll was oriented so that the transmitter was
vertical and pointed towards the receiver. Orientation was ob-
talnad using s plate on which predetermined receiver positions
wsrs plotted. Stations wore read at one hundred foot intervals.
At all times* the receiver "Faced" the transmitter. The results
.;:.:.-A :VV;?.;^^ - - '
li
obtained ara dip angles, measured in degrees. The dip angles ara
obtained by first orienting the receiver coil in the plane of the
agnetic field by rotating the coil about a vertical axis until a
null or minimum aignal ia obtained, and then rotating the coll
about a horizontal axia until a null or minimum aignal ia obtained.
The engle which the magnetic field makes with the horizontal ia
recorded aa a "dip" or "tilt" angle. In the absence of a con
ductor the dip angle will be zero since no eecondary field ia
praaent. In the preeence of a conductor, the axis of the receiver
coil pointe towarda the conductor end the plane of the coil away
from the conductor. In the presence of a conductor, the aecondary
magnetic field ia usually diaplaced from the primary in-phase aa
well as direction so that the total field is elliptically polarized.
The receiver cannot then be nulled completely but a minimum aignal
can be obtained, the width of the minimum being an Indication of
the phase displacement.
The tilt angles ara plotted as profiles, the zero or
"cross-over" point indicating the focus of the conductor axia.
Once a conductor axis has bean established, the trans
mitter ie set up over the conductor and lines am read on both sides
of the transmitter and the conductor axia is traced out by "leap
fragging" f rcna "crasa-aver" to "erase over".
Opera ting frequent: is s s 100D and 5000 cycles par second.
Range ; 2000 foot separation between transmit ter and receiver for a i 10 degree null width.
