MACH 7 UAV allows drones pilots to easily prepare their flights, by integrating all the elements linked to the flight inside only one software:

Flight planning: date and time, type of flight, flight track with creation of the staked volume, vertical profile for S4 flights, etc…

Interfacing of several types of maps: Google physical, satellite, IGN

Display of restricted areas prohibited for drones with specifications from managing agencies

All aeronautical information: NOTAM, VAC, ULM bases, METAR, TAF, weather charts, AZBA areas, etc...

Context

Drones can freely evolve in an airspace under 500 ft and outside of exclusion zones of airfields, heliports, ULM bases, and restricted areas. But this airspace is not “virgin” and is used by a number of other aircrafts: ULM and helicopters around private fields, planes during an engine failure exercise, state aircrafts (militaries, SAMU, civil security), landing gliders.

In this area, the “see-and-avoid” works because these aircrafts are visible. But this is not the case for drones, too small to be seen. They can be a serious problem for anti-collision.

MACH 7’s answer Confronted with this problem, Mach 7 has developed an experimental system informing all users in general aviation concerned with drones thanks to the software “Mach 7 UAV”

The principle is as follows: drones pilots send their flight notifications on Mach 7 UAV. Connected to the same server, general aviation pilots see on their flight planning system, Mach 7, the presence of geo-referenced drones
