ALEXIS [email protected]

Amáli Designer, Sara Freedenfeld, discovered her passion for making jewelry while backpacking through South America. Drawing inspiration from the natu-ral landscapes and vibrant textiles that colored her travels, Sara set out to create a line of jewelry that delicately unites the natural simplicity of handcrafted artistry with the sophistication and glamour of high fashion.

Aside from the small gifts of knowledge she received during her travels, which continue to influence her work today, Sara is largely a self-taught artist. She is often inspired by textiles, and many of her pieces have a fabric-like sensibility, created by intricately weaving chains and stones to create rich textures.

Alexis Kletjian is a two time award-winning jewelry designer. As a child, she spent countless hours playing behind the cases in her parents’ shop in the Boston Jewelers Building. Captivated by the magic and beauty of the raw materials, those early impressions of art as adornment inspired dreams of making and sell-ing beautiful jewelry that would be counted on to be passed down through gen-erations. Dreams do come true because today Alexis shares a strong connection with her collectors, curating her collections to adorn their legacy. Alexis Kletjian looks forward to expanding with select retailers in 2017.

AMY [email protected]

Influenced by fine art, architecture and iconic imagery, Amy creates designs that are a personal interpretation of her visual world. Her work is the fusion of train-ing in the fine arts, followed by years of professional work as a designer in both the fashion and film industry. Rooted in the classical, her pieces evoke a modern sensibility, featuring clean lines, mixed metals and stones cut for each design. Amy designs and fabricates her pieces in NYC.

As a fifth generation Californian, Annie grew up on a working lemon grove ranch - her esthetic formed as a juxtaposition of equestrian style, English Re-gency, fine craftsmanship and glamorous practicality. The pieces she designs are for sophisticated women who have an appreciation for art and something reminiscent of the past, but who also want to invest in modern heirlooms. New pieces are fabricated in Los Angeles, each crafted in 18K Gold and/or Fine Silver (999) and many are embellished with diamonds or other stones, adding a modern twist. Customers are encouraged to add their monogram, a special date or personal message on each piece to make it their own. The AHJ line also features many updated antique pieces, each perfectly unique.

Anahita is an eponymous fine jewelry brand created by founder and creative director Anahita Guity Stein. The collection is best known for its sculpturally feminine architectural style. Born in Iran and raised in Europe and the US, Ana (Anahita) is influenced by the images, motifs, and history of her Persian heritage as well as her extensive world travel. Her architectural training inspires the sculptural elements that are a common thread throughout her work. Strong lines and repeating patterns are counterbalanced with an unmistakable fluidity. The designs expertly juxtapose dark and light, sharp and soft, and exotic and refined resulting in one-of-a-kind, inspired looks that are at same time classically time-less and modernly chic.

I enjoy creating body adornments. Jewelry is a very intimate art form as it al-lows the wearer to express herself through jewelry and at the same time allows the maker to be imaginative and creative. I often choose gold as my metal of choice, because it is extremely malleable and has inherent nobility. It does not tarnish or deteriorate and reflects the beauty and nobility inherent in each person. I believe beautifully designed and crafted gold pieces strengthen the wearer on an energetic level and I never get tired to apply ancient goldsmithing techniques to a brand new sheet of gold to form my next art jewelry piece.

JORDAN ROAD [email protected]

Jordan Road Jewelry is a chic, modern and well-curated jewelry line co-created by mother daughter duo Emma and Jordanna. On a chance trip to India to volun-teer helping children, they encountered world-class craftsmen producing custom jewelry. After attending the Gemological Institute of America to receive their masters degree, they returned to India to develop Jordan Road Jewelry; a line of jewelry that has an international vibe with pieces that can be mixed, matched, stacked, or worn alone. Jordan Road inspires to create modern, cool jewelry that is versatile and timeless.

Over the past 7 years, I have been in the jewelry industry learning and creating my own fine jewelry line. My goal in creating my jewelry was to bring feelings to life through crafting fine forever jewelry. My Ethereal collection was born from an emotional place to create serenity and peace for the wearer. I think the world is in need of that these days. The Cirque line manifested from my love of circles and their infinite meanings. There is the whimsy, to the mismatched, to the wavy that can form into any design. For me, the circle represents complete-ness while also allowing for change in its composition. I find emotional mean-ing in how I place them together. As in the Circle of Love ring, I was inspired by a great love that showed me the ups and downs love takes, but also the endur-ing strength and beauty of it as well.

I am a designer who creates from an emotional place. I handcraft all my jewelry in my downtown Los Angeles studio. My joy in making jewelry comes from creating sentimental pieces that will be loved, worn and adored by my custom-ers. I want them to walk away feeling what the jewelry was inspired to create, which in most of my pieces is Love.

Marisa Lomonaco specializes in creating jewelry that is designed and con-structed with an emphasis on quality and longevity. Sculptural in nature, her collections blur the line between refinery and edge. Marisa began experimenting with jewelry making in her small Beacon, New York studio in 2008, using found objects and digital 3D printing processes. Her education in sculpture and metal arts continues to inform her designs. Each and every piece is created from high quality recycled metals. Tried and true, always classic but sometimes unpredict-able. Intended for those with a passionate uncompromising sense of individual-ity. Each and every piece tells a story and improves with wear and age.

I come from a Spanish-Danish family with a soft spot for various creative outlets such as painting, sculpture and industrial design.

I come up with ideas based on materials and forms rather than on their final purpose, which has lead me to work with a broad range of medias such as clay, paper, leather and a variety of metals, gemstones as well as other random materi-als i consider precious and interesting.

I really appreciate the challenge and beauty of artisanal manufacturing, there-fore I have spent a lot of time acquiring the skills necessary to make things in a small, handmade scale rather than to lend my ideas to more efficient, less roman-tic ways of production.

PAT [email protected]

RONA [email protected]

Pat Flynn works to create authentic, powerful jewelry that considers precious-ness and non-preciousness. Fine goldsmithing, applied in a painterly fashion, contrasts with forged pure iron and gem stones. The pieces are created one at a time in Pat’s studio located in the Hudson Valley, just north of Manhattan, by his team of skilled studio artists. The objects are intended to be worn in many situa-tions, for various lifestyles to become vessels for life’s memories.

Rona Fisher’s jewelry designs are inspired by rivers—especially the flow of water over stones and by forms found in the ancient world, They are character-ized by using asymmetry to create balance. Rona’s work brings these themes together, fusing an organic sensibility with a feeling of antiquity, giving the work an urban edge.

In creating these pieces, Rona says, I’m focusing on the feeling I get when in nature– particularly near a stream; the smell and sounds of fresh rushing water, bouncing off of ancient rock formations is relaxing and energizing. In wearing these pieces when back in the city, I am reminded of and am compelled to share the feeling of balance and energy.

Rona Fisher Jewelry is based in Philadelphia PA on historic Jeweler’s Row.

Always pushing the boundaries of their materials, Roule & Company has conceived a design language that has much in common with architecture or industrial design, using gold and gemstones the way an engineer might use steel and glass.

The realization that she had the ability to make objects that could both adorn and be treasured drew Sophie to jewelry as an art form and as a vocation.

THE EDEN [email protected]

www.etsy.com/shop/TheEdenCollective

Swati Dhanak is a New York based jewelry designer specializing in fine jewelry. She comes from a lineage of traditional goldsmiths. As a kid, she was frequently taken to the family-owned gold workshop in Dubai by her grandfather who moved there in the 1950’s to expand the family jewelry business. These early experiences instilled in her a strong sense of jewelry making and led her to de-sign her own jewelry line. Swati draws inspiration from abstract art, architecture and natural landscapes. She gravitates towards geometrical and asymmetrical elements and likes to pushboundaries that characterize fine jewelry. Created with 18k gold and diamonds, most of Swati Dhanak jewelry is still made in the same family-owned workshop she frequented as a kid.

The collection is ever-evolving: unique antique and vintage jewelry as well as one of a kind and limited edition original designs. We specialize in working with unusual antique gemstones and recycling precious metals; our passion is redis-covering the value of things once-loved, thoughtfully crafting them new purpose and new appeal.

TWO OF [email protected]

VITAE [email protected]

The jewelry featured by Vitae Ascendere is innovative both in design concept andexecution. The metal lace pieces are informed by mathematical algorithms that illuminate natural phenomena. Coupled with organic shapes the resulting surfaces undulate and flow with inherent grace.

The forms are printed using state of the art 3D printing techniques and directly cast toprecious metal. Given the intricacy of the shapes and patterns it would not be possible to create a mold; each piece is individually printed and carefully prepared for casting.

All of the pieces are hand finished by master craftsmen, a combination of mod-ern technology and human craftsmanship all made in NYC. The result, pieces that are elegant, light, unique and a pleasure to wear.

Two of Most is a collection of earrings and rings that are the embodiment of tough luxe and thoughtful design - the exquisite for the everyday. The collec-tion pays homage to our grandmother, a jewelry aficionado whose personal credo was that every woman should have “one of everything and two of most.”

Available individually and in sets, the pieces are designed to be layered together, inviting unexpected combinations. Soft organic curves in strong proportions are juxtaposed by dramatic angles, negative space and other sculptural details. Rendered in high-polish 14 karat yellow gold, each piece captures the eye and tells a story of individuality.
