Instructional time was strictly followed and fidelity to the core program was monitored by site and district administrators. The district continues with full implementation of HM and strictly follows the instructional minutes. Implementation is monitored by site and district administration. Holt McDougal Literature Common Core Edition (7-8) was adopted in November, 2011. Professional development training for the newly adopted text will take place in January, 2012 and full implementation will take place in the 2012-13 school year.

K-6 PLC Dates for 2011-2012: Sept 7 Feb 1 Oct 5 Mar 7 Nov 2 Apr 11 Jan 11 May 9 7-12 will have 12 PLC dates for 2011-12.

Train district and K-12 site administration on PLC process [p 21 and 32] Train K-12 teachers on PLC process [p 21 and 32 Implement PLC process [p 21 and 32] Monitor PLC process for effectiveness and impact of student learning and teacher practice PLC’s proved very effective during the 2010-2011 school year. They will continue for the 2011-2012 school year with additional meetings be added. Also, additional time was built into the (K-6) calendar to give teachers and administrators additional time to plan and assess student progress.
