Well suitable for long run dies and for production of part requiring smooth surfaces (to be coated and paint). Not recommendable for dies producing small lots (200-2000 pcs).

Best choice for die casting, forging. Al-Mg dies for low pressure-gravity casting and high pressure die casting, Particularly suited for long run dies producing thick walled pieces, also with complicated shapes. Suitable for medium sized and large dies (up to 2 tons). This steel required very high core temperature to optimally perform.

Dies for low pressure aluminium gravity casting and high pressure Al-Mg die casting. Recommended for small and medium sized dies (<500Kg) for long run productions.

Big castings having complicated shape enhanced weldability. With its excellent hardenability and very high toughness particularly suited for die casting holder. It's a valid alternative to the usually forged big moulds and bolsters.
