Due to his target driven personality, he consistently facilitates the smooth-running ofoperations and demonstrates an ability to quickly develop effective strategies to achieveobjectives in fast-paced, pressurized environments. Throughout his time at London FitOut Ltd, Wern has proven to express the ability to listen to our clients’ expectations anddeliver projects to their needs.
Wern developed strong planning and organizational skills to conduct operations withmaximum levels of efficiency and thrives in fast-paced projects. Growing up on a farmin a rural part of South Africa, Wern learned from a young age to achieve goals throughhard work and determination. Prior to and since migrating to the UK in 2003, Wern hasachieved qualifications and gained experience across the construction and engineeringindustries in the UK, as well as South Africa, United States and Antarctica (South Pole).
As such, Wern has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in a vast number offabrication processes within the construction industry. This experience stretches frommetal fabrication, residential new-builds construction and refurbishments, commercialnew-built and fit-outs, events like the Olympics and the construction of the new BritishResearch Station Halley Vl in the South Pole. Wern’s experience from both a fixer andmanagement background has developed a mind-set to approach any possible problemsystematically and to identify the most effective approach in order to generate solutionsand implement corrective action.
Favourite phrases: “A boer makes a plan” and “Always see a problem as the perfectopportunity to excel”. Favourite pastime is to spend time outdoors, whether on the golfcourse, riding dirt bikes or on horseback in the mountains of the Karoo.

Vaughan’s industry knowledge and experience of the interior fit-out and refurbishmentmarket has advanced London Fit Out Ltd into a leading medium sized London basedoffice fit-out contractor. He focuses on being client friendly and always puts their needsfirst to achieve their desired results. Vaughan’s honest and trustworthy approach hasled to year on year growth for the company with strong repeat business from key clientssuch as Colliers International, WWP Group, Scottish Widows, London Fire Brigade andCapital & City Properties, to name a few.
Prior to setting up London Fit Out Ltd in 2009, Vaughan worked as Construction Directorfor the UK’s largest office refurbishment contractor ISG plc, gaining the necessary uppermanagement experience to create the bespoke office fit-out company LFO.
Vaughan’s story started in 1994 when he came to the UK from New Zealand. He startedworking as a site foreman for London’s largest fit-out company – Overbury Plc. Whilststudying for his BSc (Hon) in Construction Management at Westminster University,Vaughan was promoted up through management over his 8 years, working on over 100fast track Office Fit-Outs up to the value of £5m.
Vaughan will always be seen on London Fit Out sites, making sure the company deliversquality and to ensure programme schedules are being achieved.
Unlike the larger competitors, Vaughan is always available by phone and is regularly inattendance to the company’s site based project meetings.
Vaughan has a passion for watching the All Blacks play rugby and can be found trying toimprove his golf handicap on the golf courses of Hertfordshire.

LFO operates as the Main Contractor for clients and carries out traditional type contracts with design teams, as well as full design and build for the smaller sized projects andclients. Cost Management is key on all projects, so if you have a specific budget for your office fit-out, we will work with the design team to meet it and offer value engineering options that maintain design intent without watering down the quality.

Vaughan’s industry knowledge and experience of the interior fit-out and refurbishment market has advanced London Fit Out Ltd into a leading medium sized London based office fit-out contractor. He focuses on being client friendly and always puts their needs first to achieve their desired results. Vaughan’s honest and trustworthy approach has led to year on year growth for the company with strong repeat business from key clients such as Colliers International, WWP Group, Scottish Widows, London Fire Brigade and Capital & City Properties, to name a few.
Prior to setting up London Fit Out Ltd in 2009, Vaughan worked as Construction Director for the UK’s largest office refurbishment contractor ISG plc, gaining the necessary upper management experience to create the bespoke office fit-out company LFO.
Vaughan’s story started in 1994 when he came to the UK from New Zealand. He started working as a site foreman for London’s largest fit-out company – Overbury Plc. Whilst studying for his BSc (Hon) in Construction Management at Westminster University, Vaughan was promoted up through management over his 8 years, working on over 100 fast track Office Fit-Outs up to the value of £5m.
Vaughan will always be seen on London Fit Out sites, making sure the company delivers quality and to ensure programme schedules are being achieved.
Unlike the larger competitors, Vaughan is always available by phone and is regularly in attendance to the company’s site based project meetings.
Vaughan has a passion for watching the All Blacks play rugby and can be found trying to improve his golf handicap on the golf courses of Hertfordshire.
