    Skin Workbench

    Before you start to replace the Standard SAP logo you have to add a new logo in the Skin workbench.

    (IMG -> Customer Relationship Management->UI Framework->UI Framework Definition->

    Skins and Icons->Access Skin Workbench)

    Step 1: Create own Skin folder in Skin workbench

    Step 1:

    Before you start to replace the Standard SAP logo you have to add a new logo in the Skinworkbench.

    You can use an existing Skin folder in the lower panel of the workbench or create a new

    custom folder by copying a Standard Skin from the upper panel.

    Define Icon

    In the Icon Customizing you can define your new logo

    (IMG -> Customer Relationship Management->UI Framework->UI Framework Definition-> Skins and

    Icons->Define Icons)

    Step 1: Create new icon with name CUSTOM_LOGO of type Logo.

    Step 1:

    Icons of the type Logo are used in the header area of the WebClient UI. If you change the

    SAP logo, you can add your own company logo or overwrite the SAP logo. If you want to

    overwrite the SAP logo, create a new icon with name CUSTOM_LOGO and type LOGO. If

    you use your own company logo, be aware of its size. If the logo does not entirely fit into

    the header area of the WebClient UI, you can adjust the header size in the Customizing

    activity Define Layout Profile. The SAP logo is replaced by your logo in the entire

    WebClient UI, in the header area of all screens, in the screen in which you select a

    business role for logon, and so on. Since logos are skin-dependent, you also need toensure that the logo is available for all skins.

    Define Icon

    Step 2: Open subfolder Icon Files and add new logo files from skin Workbench using F4-Help

    Step 2:

    Select file type (PNG for IE7 and up, GIF if you are using IE6). The best approach is towrite 2 entries, one for each file type.

    If you do not enter a skin name, the corresponding icon is available for all standard SAP

    skins.

    If you want to overwrite the icons in a specific skin, you need to enter the skin name. Youcan select Right-to-Left if the icon is right-to-left supported.

    The URL for the icon can be retrieved via F4-Help which opens the skin workbench

    browser to select the file path.

    It is also possible to enter the file path manually (without F4-Help).

    Logo Text

    It is possible to define a Logo Text for each different Business Role

    (IMG -> Customer Relationship Management->UI Framework->UI Framework Definition-> Business

    Roles -> Define Business Roles)

    A new Logo Text can be defined in the Details for Business Role Customizing. The

    parameter Logo Text defines the text next to the logo in the header area of the WebClient

    UI. You can enter a text with a maximum of 50 characters. Since the text size is skin-

    dependent, you need to ensure that the logo text is not cut off.
