Introduction This document goes through the various scenarios which students can encounter when trying to view Logical Progression classes online.
Logical Progression: Technical Troubleshooting Guide 1.0

Refreshing the Web Page If you are facing difficulties in logging into Logical Progression or viewing the video online, try refreshing your web page. To do this press the F5 key on your
keyboard or alternatively click on the icon next to the address bar to refresh/reload the web page
The following link will help you to force the browser to read the page again from the website server instead of from the browser's cache stored on your
computer. Storing a cache on your computer will allow faster browsing of pages you have already visited, but may not deliver the most current version of
the web page from the server. Sometimes if a glitch has been fixed, you can continue to see the bug because you are viewing a cached version of the page,
so force refreshing will allow you to see the fix.

Sometimes you may need to refresh the page a few times however if this does not work, please go to the next section

Clearing the Cache In order to speed up web browsing, all browsers download web pages you surf and store them on your computer in an area called the cache. When you
visit the same website for a second time the browser speeds up the display time by loading the pages locally from the cache instead of downloading
everything all over again. This can sometimes result in older versions of the website you are visiting being displayed.
Over time your browser may begin to slow down as a result. Clearing your cache can significantly improve the speed and performance of your browser and
websites which require login access
Step 1: Open Internet Explorer
on your computer
Step 2: Click on the Tools icon
in the far right hand side
of the window. This results in

Updating Adobe Flash
Adobe Flash (formerly Macromedia Flash) is a multimedia platform used to add animation, video, and interactivity to web pages generally accessed through
a web browser. Flash is frequently used for advertisements, games and flash animations for broadcast. Flash manipulates vector and raster graphics to
provide animation of text, drawings, and still images. It supports bidirectional streaming of audio and video on sites like YouTube etc.

Buffering & Playback Problems
For a more reliable viewing experience, we recommend a minimum downstream connection speed of at least 2 Mb/s to view LP classes.
You can test your connection speed here we recommend testing several times as bandwidth can fluctuate.
If you are experiencing persistent buffering or playback issues, please try the following steps:
1: Refresh your browser window (Ctrl+R in Microsoft Windows or Command+R in Mac OS.)
2: Lower your video resolution by clicking the gear icon along the bottom of the player.
3: Quit other unnecessary applications running on your computer. Avoid using multiple tabs in your browser.
4: If you're using wireless internet (WiFi), connect directly to your modem or router via an Ethernet cable.
5: Quit your browser application entirely (Ctrl+Q in Microsoft Windows or Command+Q in Mac OS) and restart it.
If you continue to experience buffering after following the above steps, please try the following:
1: Clear your browser's Cache and any stored cookies, then try again.
2: Upgrade to the latest version of your web browser.
3: Use a different browser.
4: Update your Adobe Flash installation (if you're using Google Chrome, this happens automatically.)
If, after completing the above steps, you still can't see the stream, please try disabling hardware acceleration in your browser's Flash player.
1: Right-click on the on the video you're having issues with
2: Click Settings
4: Click the left-most tab
5: Uncheck the 'Enable hardware acceleration' checkbox to disable hardware acceleration.
