Print media, despite what you might hear from folks in the digi-tal-only domain, IS NOT DEAD! In fact, it’s just the opposite. More niche independent print media companies are sprouting up in grassroots fashion (like us) all over the nation.
Recent studies have also revealed that although people want the option to have access to digital forms of media, they prefer to read on paper rather than by pixel. Users often feel fatigued from either staring at a screen or the lack of appropriate inter-face design. This includes young people aged 18-25.
There is also something to be said of “having something tan-gible” as the publisher of Growler once told me (his business is growing, by the way).
Now, we’re not suggesting that you invest all of your money in print, either. In fact, most of our business is in digital media. But there is a time and a place. We can help consult your busi-ness on what types of media production should function for end users (your customers). Plus, all of our print publications are replicated with digital editions that include advanced in-document features like web links, video and even social media features. When it comes to desktop publishing, LMP is a leader in its field. We may be a small company, but our influence is far-reaching. Print media also helps drive traffic to websites and reinforce brands in ways that only a print impression can.

In September 1968, Congress au-thorized President Lyndon B. John-son to proclaim National Hispanic Heritage Week, observed during the week of September 15 and 16. It was expanded in 1988 to one month, Sep-tember 15 to October 15. The United States is home to immigrants from Spain, Mexico and the Spanish-speak-ing nations of Central America, South America and the Caribbean. Septem-ber 15 has significance because it is the anniversary of independence of Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua. Mexico and Chile celebrate their independence on September 16 and 18, respectively.
According to Minnesota Census 2010 results, the population of His-panic people is about 4.7 percent, though cities vary in ethnic popula-tion. There are pockets of Hispanic communities throughout the state, midwest and nation as a whole. Al-bert Lea census data indicates a 13.2 percent Hispanic population. Austin’s
