The LM930 Bluetooth Smart module can be used within a wide range of embedded systems including iBeacons, key fobs and sensors. While saving the developer critical physical space. The LM930 enables you to wirelessly communicate with other nearby Bluetooth Smart devices (e.g. iPhones and Android devices). Using a highly power efficient Bluetooth LE connection.
This standalone module allows the developer to connect peripheral devices and runs the Bluetooth LE user application, without using an external MCU. LM offer Bluetooth LE application support to the developer and can create new user applications for the module. We also offer Bluetooth Smart demo applications, which can be customised to your specification.
Your developed user application and settings can be preloaded to the LM930, simplifying the manufacturing and testing process. Its SMT side and bottom pads allows for easy integrations into your embedded system.
The U.FL connector allows the developer to add an antenna that suits their requirements e.g. a dipole and print antenna. Selected antenna could provide a long range, omnidirectional or unidirectional connection with nearby Bluetooth Smart devices.
