Presenting Little Mole ‘s friends with flashcards: dove/bird, horse, rabbit/hare, goat, cow, pig, flies and dog

DURING THE STORY ACTIVITY (1)
Aims:
To facilitate the global comprehension of the story
To maintain their attention
To allow their active participation
STORYTELLING TIME
We will explain the story twice 1st time: explanation of the story
with the book (or a slide presentation)
Nonverbal communication
Simplified words if necessary
Remember: say hello to each animal by making its sound!
DURING THE STORY ACTIVITY (2)

2n time: we can use a video of the animated story (native speaker)
Before starting: share out flashcards (animals and poos)
During the story: who is my pair.?
At the end: make pairs and present yourself!
AFTER THE STORY ACTIVITY
Aims:
To participate actively
To practice oral expression
To be self-confident and increase self-esteem
To share the experience with the families
PERFORMING THE STORY
Each character/animal will be performed by a kid
Using the flash cards again!
Children will be on a row with the mole on the top of it, followed by the rest of the animals
The dialog and the actions will be simplified and hardly guided by the teacher who will take the roll of narrator (and prompter, if needed)
