All common substrates made of thermoplastic olefins (TPO) are paintable with suitable pre-treatment. Even without flame treatment, R1188 fulfills a selection of OEM specifications.

ADHESIVE ALL-ROUNDER

Thanks to its good adhesion R1188 can be used in multi-substrate systems as standard adhesion promoter on TPO and ABS as well as ABS/PC and PC/PBT.

• storage stability: The special formulation makes it possible to store this product for six to twelve months.

• conductive: Fulfills the requirements of common system specifications as conducti-ve coating for electrostatic coatings.

• yield: With one kg R1188 an area of up to 21m2 can be coated at a film build of 5 to 7 µm.

• flexible drying: ranging from three minutes at room temperature to forced drying of 15 minutes at 80 °C

• flash off behavior can be adapted to paint line conditions

• OEM compliant: Fulfills the specifications of VW, Audi, Seat, GM, PSA and Renault. Other OEMs by request.

Application

Material which has been adapted by thinning is usable for up to three months, but should be agitated very well before use.
