Recently, Lincoln High School was recognized by the Washington Post and US News as one of the most challenging high schools in the nation, based on coursework and student test scores. Not only was Lincoln ranked 223rd in the nation, but we were in the top 10 non-magnet high school in the state of Florida and 1st in Leon County! As we complete our state and national testing for this year, I am excited to see our results as we continue to improve our standing as one of the top high schools in the country in preparing students for life after Lincoln. This semester has also been filled with success in athletics and fine arts as well. Watching our top tier programs showcase their talents in productions and concerts confirms that Lincoln’s fine arts are like no other. Similarly, our athletics continued to represent us at the highest level as multiple teams participated in post season play. All of these exceptional efforts, inside the classroom and out, have added to the legacy of Lincoln High School. As this end of this school year nears, I would like to thank all of our stakeholders for another productive, successful, school year. Our students, parents, teachers, staff, and business partners have created an environment for success. It is with these contributions that Lincoln continues to be one of the highest achieving, most well rounded high school in the Southeast. I wish everyone a safe and restful summer and I cannot wait to welcome students back to school August 15th. Go Trojans! Allen Burch Principal

Congratulations! Lincoln High School has a three time Olympian walking their halls. Graham O’Donnell has reached the Platinum Level of the USA Coding Olympiad, Silver in the US Physics Olympiad and was one of only 4 perfect scores (out of 30,000) on the AMC 10B, a qualifying exam for the USA Mathematics Olympiad. Graham is the only student in the State of Florida to receive a perfect score on the AMC10 in the last 6 years, and he’s done it now two years in a row. He is also the only student in Tallahassee to qualify for any of these Olympic events.

Their stellar performance was met with thunderous applause, a standing ovation, and “Straight” Superior ratings! This outcome has earned Lincoln the Otto J.
