WEDDING POLICIES All reservations and agreements are made upon and subject to the rules and regulations of The Phoenician Resort and

the following:

DEPOSIT

A non-refundable deposit equal to the Wedding Package charge, plus applicable tax & service, shall be paid to the

hotel and delivered with the signed contract. A credit card is also requested to be on file to guarantee any additional

charges incurred that having not been included in the pre-payment invoices. 100% of estimate charges are due 30 days

prior to the event. In the event, prior to the start date, your food and beverage exceeds the deposits taken by more than

10%, the hotel reserves the right to obtain those deposits.

GUARANTEE

It is necessary that the Catering Manager be informed of the exact number of people who will attend the event by 9am,

at least three full business days prior to the event. This number will be a guaranteed minimum, not subject to

reduction, and charges will be made accordingly. Guarantees for Saturday, Sunday, and Monday are due by 9:00am

on Wednesday. If a guarantee is not given to the hotel by 9:00am on the date it is due, the number(s) on the event

order(s) will become the guarantee(s).

Pre-Selected menu options offering guests more than 1 option for dinner, are permitted. Pricing is based on the highest

entrée. These selections are due (1) week prior to the event start date. • Tastings are provided complimentary for the couple and offered complimentary for groups of 100 or more.

– Additional guests will be billed at the tasting menu price of $175.00++ and added to the final invoice. • Only Plated Meals qualify for tastings. • Tastings consist of (6) appetizers, (3) salads and up to (3) entrées. • House Wines are provided complimentary during the tasting. • Up to 4 additional wines may be selected for the tasting meal, provided at least (2) are selected for the event. • Additional food items may be selected for the tasting and added to the final invoice. • Reception Only events do not qualify for tastings. They can be provided at the menu tasting price • All Tastings require 4-week advanced notice • All menu & beverage pricing is subject to change until contracted

PAYMENT IN ADVANCE

The full balance of payment is required no later than (30) days prior to the event. Payment can be made in cash,

cashier check or by credit card. Personal checks can be accepted (45) days prior to the event to allow sufficient time

for clearance. Final choices resulting in exceeding balances deposited will be requested within (1) week of event.

Final invoices will reflect actual consumption of food/beverages. A rescon on-line secured credit card authorization

is required regardless of payment option as a security hold.

SERVICE CHARGE SALES TAX PRICES

There will be a 26% taxable service charge and applicable sales tax on all food and beverage items and Wedding

Packages. Prices are subject to change to meet costs at the time of the event and we ask that client agrees to pay these

increased prices. Alternatively, the hotel, as its option, may in the event of cost increases, makes reasonable

substitutions in menu items and we ask that client agrees to accept such substitutions.

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE

The sale and service of all alcoholic beverages is regulated by the Arizona State Liquor Commission. The Phoenician

is responsible for the administration of those regulations. It is a policy, therefore, that no alcoholic beverages are

brought into the hotel from outside sources, and that no alcoholic beverages be served to persons less than 21 years

of age. Guests between the ages of 21 years and 30 years are required to bring photo I.D. to ensure service.

WEDDING OPTIONS The Phoenician is an experienced host with the perfect setting - and a full complement of resources on

premises to satisfy the most discriminating wedding requirements. Whether you desire a small intimate

ceremony, or a grand celebration amid friends and family, enjoy your day together in an atmosphere of

gracious hospitality and unrivaled luxury.

EVENT SPACE RENTAL AND MINIMUMS

Event space is offered for reception/dinner if the minimum food and beverage expectations are met. Hotel

may make reasonable substitutes to Function Space by notifying Customer in writing.

ESTIMATED COST

For budgeting purposes, a minimum of $250 per person in food and beverage should be expected. This figure

does not include service charge, tax, decorations or entertainment. While we make every attempt to disclose

costs, each wedding is customized and therefore subject to additional pricing of items and services.

COMPLIMENTARY ACCOMMODATIONS

A complimentary guestroom is provided for the couple’s wedding night, for groups of 100 or more. For

groups of less than 100, guestrooms may be arranged at the lowest available rate, and will receive a

complimentary upgrade, depending on hotel availability.

RECEPTION TASTINGS

Tastings are provided complimentary for the Bride and Groom, for groups of 100 or more. Additional guests

may be added to the tasting for $175.00++ per person. Weddings under 100 guests will not receive a

complimentary tasting, however can be arranged for $175.00++ per person.

WEDDING COORDINATOR

The Phoenician requires that you employ an outside professional/certified wedding coordinator to assist with

your wedding arrangements, ceremony, rehearsal and reception; the resort must pre-approve your coordinator

and their qualifications. The wedding coordinator will work with you to coordinate all aspects of your

rehearsal and ceremony, and may assist with your vendors, as appropriate. Your Wedding Catering Manager

can provide you with names of our recommended coordinators. The hotel requires an on-site meeting 1 week

prior to event to review event orders and guest expectations.

DECOR

For a lavish celebration, inquire about decor, dramatic lighting and ice carvings. Our Catering Managers can

assist you in selecting floral accents and centerpieces, specialty linens, draped chair coverings, and more. All

work orders are to be received no later than (1) week prior to the event. Deliveries, set/strike times are to be

notified in writing no later than 30 days prior to event.

MUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT

A variety of musical entertainment, from classical to contemporary, including pianists, harpists, jazz combos,

full orchestras, classical guitarists, pop bands, and D.J. can be provided. Outside events completely end by

10pm. After party events can extend your event, based on space availability.

PARKING AND VALET SERVICE

There is ample parking for your guests. Self-parking is complimentary, however, valet parking is included in

your wedding package and encouraged for your guest to utilize. Experiencing a five diamond property is one

of the luxuries of holding your event at The Phoenician.
