    Faith Toward GodHeb 11:1, 6; Heb 6:1

    January 1

Heb 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let

us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of

repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God

Other Scriptures for Meditation: Pro3:5-7; Rom 4:17-22; Heb 12:2

Heavenly Father, I put my trust in You absolutely and whole- heartedly. I know You

are working all things out for my ultimate good and pleasure. Thank You for my faithin You will never be let down, in Jesus Name. AMEN.

    My Solid Front Confession)

Faith is a unilateral spiritual force. It must always be directed toward God alone, not

Man, not things. It is faith in God that changes both Man and things, not faith in

things, systems or people. Faith in things, systems and people can fail, but faith in

    God can never fail.

In Mark 11:22-23, Jesus says: Have faith IN God., and then He goes on to

say: For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain,

Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his

heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he

    shall have whatsoever he saith.

According to the foregoing, it is faith in God that overturns a mountain from itsfoundation and hurls it into the sea. Things are changed by our faith in God, not in

things. The Word of God is the Parent Material from which all things were made. It is

only faith in God's Word that can create and recreate the things your heart truly

desires. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made

that was made. (John 1:3). Jesus Christ, the Living Word, is the Author and

Finisher of our faith. Our faith begins and ends with Him. If it does not begin with Him,

    it cannot finish with Him.

    Beloved, we are to look to Jesus, The Living Word, and not to things; not to people;

not to systems or institutions of men, but unto God.

    Why Faith?Heb 11:6; Eph 2:8-9

    January 2

Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that

cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of

    them that diligently seek him.

To the Believer, faith is so important that it cannot be over-emphasized. It is the hub

of the Christian life; the centrality of our walk with God. Everything that pertains to

life and destiny swings on the hinges of faith.

Without faith it is impossible to please God. But without faith it is impossible to

please him(Heb 11:6). Nothing else pleases God apart from faith. For we walk

by faith, not by sight (2Cor 5:7). A walk is a series of steps taken in the direction of

progress. Faith is our progressive advancement. It is our victorious procession,

without which there is no visible progress with and in God. .for, The just shall live

by faith(Gal 3:11). The Believer, who was justified by faith, shall live by faith.

Faith is our life. There is no other life worth living for the Believer other than the life of

    faith.

Faith is our sure access to grace. By whom also we have access by faith into this

grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.(Rom 5:2).

God's grace always answers to faith. Faith is our unshaking stability. For by faith

ye stand(2 Cor 1:24). By faith we are anchored on Christ, the Solid Rock. Nothing

moves faith because it is the mover of all things.

In view of the above facts, it is evident that faith is the oxygen of the Believer without

which there is no life. It is our vital leverage. Our life is that of faith.

Heavenly Father, I thank You for revealing to me the importance of faith. I thank You

for showing me how much my faith in You is worth, how much it can accomplish and

how far it can go. I declare that I live by faith in Your Word, in Jesus Name. AMEN.

The Measure of FaithRom 12:3; 2 Thess 3:2; Rom 10:17

    January 3

Rom 12:3 ..according as God hath dealt to every man the measure

    of faith.

Heavenly Father, I thank You for the measure of faith. I commit myself to feeding

upon Your Word so my faith can develop. I take this noble responsibility to always

challenge my faith to grow as I meditate and act upon Your Word. I declare that Ilive by faith in Your Word, in Jesus Name. AMEN.

    8

    My Solid Front Confession)

It is of paramount importance for the Believer in Christ to know that God has dealt to

every Man the measure of faith. It is 'the' measure of faith, not 'a' measure of faith.

Every child of God has the measure of faith. At New Birth, the Believer receives the

measure of faith that is of the God-kind. No one child of God receives a measure of

faith better and greater than the other, for it is the same Word of God that saves all.

Rom 10:17So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.

The Word of God is the substance of faith, for faith comes by hearing it. It therefore

follows that the faith that first came to the Believer for salvation was of the Word of

God. It is known as the measure of faith. It is the same in measure across board. It is

also known as the saving faith, that is, the faith that brought salvation.

Not all men have this kind of faith; for all men have not faith.(2 Thess 3:2), fornot all men have received the Word of God that imparts this measure of faith.

However, everyone who is born again has the measure of this faith, which is of the

kind that God possesses. This is the principle of equality of faith.

Nevertheless, though the principle of equality of faith levels all up at New Birth, yet

the eventual development of faith is a personal responsibility of the Believer which

predicates upon commitment to hearing and doing God's Word. The Believer is

responsible for whatever the measure of faith becomes after New Birth.

    God is Love1 John 4:78; 1 John 4:16; Eph 3:19; 2 Cor 13:1

    January 4

1 John 4:7-8 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and

every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth

not knoweth not God; for God is Love.

Heavenly Father, I believe that You are a Love God and that Your Love for me can

never change. I believe in Your Love and I respond also to You in Love today andalways; thank You Lord, in Jesus Name. AMEN.

    8

    My Solid Front Confession)

The God nature is the Love nature. Love is the most significant quality and attribute of

God; the core and the very essence of His being; it is who God is. That is why 1 John

4:8 says God is Love. Just as much as the nature of a thing or a being defines its

characteristics and attributes, Love is the definition of God's character; it definesevery other thing about Him. Everything God does and everything God is stems from

His Love nature. The reason behind all of God's actions, all of God's Word, all of God's

    principles is His Love nature.

In Exodus 34:6, God revealed himself to Moses: And the LORD passed by before

him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious,

longsuffering and abundant in goodness and truth. Note the words God used to

describe Himself, merciful, gracious, long suffering and abundant in

goodness and truth; all these words reflect God's Love nature. God doesn't just

show mercy, He is merciful, He is gracious, He is longsuffering, and He is abundant in

goodness and truth. By nature this is who God is. Love is His nature.

Love is not something that God feels when He is pleased, God is a Love Being. His life

is a Love Life, His words are Love Words. Love is God's way of doing things; Love is

God's reason for doing what He does; Love is the easiest and natural thing for God to

do. Renew your mind to this truth constantly. God is not a bad tempered, furious and

angry God as many have portrayed Him. He is a Love God full of compassion towards

His children and the entire world.

    Love: Our New Nature1John 3:14; Matt 5:44-48; Eph 5:1-2

    January 5

1 John 3:14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth

    in death.

Love is the significant proof of the essence of the God kind of life. Every kind of life has

its own nature that defines its peculiar characteristics. The opening Scripture reveals

that Love is the substance of the God-kind of life. You cannot possess eternal life and

not have the Love nature. The God-kind of life produces the Love nature. In John

5:24-26 Jesus said Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and

believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come intocondemnation; but is passed from death unto life. Verily, verily, I say unto you,

the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of

God: and they that hear shall live. For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath

he given to the Son to have life in himself.

According to the above Scripture, every one who believes has Everlasting Life. Note

that Jesus did not say 'will have'but he said 'has'. It means every Believer has Eternal

Life right now. Verse 26 clearly reveals that this Life is of the Father. If you are a

Believer, you have the God-kind of Life in you right from the very moment youconfessed Jesus as Lord. No wonder the Scriptures say in 1 John 4:4 that we are

of God. Love is the very essence of the New Man in Christ. The New Man has the

capacity to walk in love because love is his nature, he is fundamentally and essentially

    a Love being.

Are you born again? If yes, then the good news is that, Love is your nature. You are a

Love being as much as God is because you have that same Life that He has. You can

love like God does; you can be as merciful, as gracious and long suffering as He is. It isnot a feeling, it is who you are. It is your inherent and permanent nature and you

must wake up to this reality every day of your life.

    8

Heavenly Father, I confess that I have passed from death unto life because I havereceived Your Love nature; I am a Love Child of the Love God. God's Love is shed

abroad in my heart and it flows to bring life to everyone that comes in contact with me

    in Jesus Name. AMEN.

    The God-Kind of Love1 Cor 13:1-8; Eph 5:1-2

    January 6

1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and

every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

There are a number of Greek words interpreted as Love in the Bible: 'Phileo''Philadephia'

and 'Agape'. Phileo means to be fond of or to have affection for something or someone,

denoting personal attachment, as a matter of sentiment or feeling. Philadelphia means

brotherly love, a sense of kinship with another, while Agape is the God-kind of love.

God wants us to have Philadelphia towards other believers. But Phileo and Philadelphia are

natural human love. They are limited. However, Agape is divine Love is limitless. It is the

fruit of the God-kind of Life. It is only the Possessor of God's life who can demonstrate

Agape because it is supernatural kind of Love.

In Ephesians 3:18 Paul prayed for the Ephesians that they . May be able to

    comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filledwith all the fullness of God.Walking in the God-kind of Love requires the knowledge of

    God's Word.

It is the Word of God that enlightens us in the realm of the God-kind of love. You must

desire the knowledge of God's Word to be skillful in your walk of love. From God's Word, we

can learn exactly what the Love of God is apart from what it is not.

Make a commitment to study God's Word about His Word and His Word will lighten your

understanding of the God-kind of love.

Heavenly Father, I thank You because, by the Holy Spirit You have shed Your kind of Love

abroad in my heart. I understand the breadth, the length, the depth and the height of your

    Love in Jesus Name. Amen.

    Correct Response to God's Word2 Cor 5:7; Rom 10:8, 17; Luke 1:26-38

    January 7

Luk 1:38 And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto

me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.

Having heard God's Word, this question is often asked: what do I do with what I have

heard? The response to the question is FAITH- to believe God's Word. Our response

ought to be Mary-like, 'be it unto me according to Your Word'. That was Mary's

response to God's Word spoken to her. Though what God said to her was out of place

in the natural order, yet she believed God by coming to terms with Him. She receivedGod's Word as her final authority; her present hour reality. By doing this, she pleased

God (Heb 11:6). Beloved, this is the sure way to enjoy the fulfilment of God's Word in

your life. Remember, we (the Just) live by faith, and we walk by faith. (Rom1:17; 2

    Cor 5:7).

Your correct response to God's Word will guarantee the flow of His grace in your

direction. Mary, the mother of Jesus, in Luke 1:38 displayed an amazing response to

God's Word. She, having not seen anything done to anyone before her of that spokenby God to her, yet believed God. At the very moment she believed God, she received

power to conceive Jesus in her womb. The Holy Spirit moved upon her and there was

a performance of what was told her of the Lord.

Beloved, you too can conceive to birth every Word God has spoken to you. All you

have to do is to respond with your heart in faith and put His Word in your mouth,

accepting it as your present hour reality. Let your heart settle down with His Word.

Come to rest by His Word.

Heavenly Father, right now I respond correctly to Your Word in faith. I walk by faith in

all I do, believing Your Word and accepting it as the final authority in my life in Jesus

    Name. AMEN.

Love is the greatest!1 Cor 13:13; Col 3:14; Eph 4:16

    January 8

1 Cor 13:13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but thegreatest of these is charity.

Love is the Ultimate to which other things are penultimate. Everything you do in Gods

kingdom only makes sense and attracts rewards if it is done in Love. Whatever is not

of Love has no value to God. The value of your faith and your labour is the Love that

motivates them. See what the Scripture says in 1 Cor 13:1-3Though I speak with

the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as

sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy,

and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith,

so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. And

though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be

burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

Think about the foregoing. Gifts of the Spirit, faith and even charitable deeds have no

value without Love. Little wonder, 1 Cor 13:13 says: the greatest of these is

Love.Love indeed is the greatest. Because Love is this important, we must give it

more attention in our daily life. God's kind of Love serves humanity heartily. You don'ttruly love people if you don't serve them. Love is selfless, always desiring to see the

prosperity of other people and going all the way to making life better for them.

Gal 5:13 says but by love serve one anotherand Luke 22:26 but he that is

greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that

doth serve. Can you see that greatness in God's kingdom is attached to service

done by Love? Greatness in God's kingdom is measured by service rendered to

people in Love. Not only is love the greatest, it also has the capacity to make you great in God's

Kingdom. Put premium on your Love walk; invest time confessing and meditating on

Love till you are saturated with it. To gain mastery in your Love walk is the most

Heavenly Father, Your Love in me serves others, I seek to bless others with my

resources, my words and my actions are constantly Love motivated in Jesus Name.

The Rule of LoveJohn 13:34; John 15:12; Romans 13:10

    January 9

John 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one

another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

As Jesus began to prepare to go back to the Father, He gave to us a New

Commandment as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. This is the

rule for life. You can never be wrong walking in Love towards people. A lot of people

talk about having principles and they try to use their principles to judge what is right

or wrong. Nonetheless, you see, Love is God's principle when dealing with people

(Please, note that Agape- the God-kind of Love is the subject matter in context). Ifwe use Love all the time to decide how to relate with people, we would be right all of

    the time.

In Philippians 1:9-10 the Scripture says And this I pray, that your love may

abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; that ye may

approve things that are excellentLove is always an excellent choice. When we

apply Love as the rule in our relationship with others, we make the right decisions.

Don't follow your feelings or your head, follow the law of Love and you will make rightdecisions about the people you relate with.

Do you want a good relationship with people especially the people closest to you? Let

Love be the rule. Love will not insist on its own way, Love is not rude, Love is patient

and kind, Love suffers long, Love forgives, Love in honour prefers the other person.

Love is considerate. How would my partner feel about my actions? What impact

would my words have on other people? These are the vital questions Love always

asks. Love people as Christ has loved you. In the kingdom of God our rule of law is therule of Love. You can never be wrong walking in Love. Let Love be your motivation

and principle by which you live your life.

Heavenly Father, thank You for the grace to Love people the way You have loved me.

In honour I prefer people; I esteem people better than myself and I am quick toforgive. I keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, in Jesus Name. AMEN.

The Word is Your LifeMatt 4:4; Psa 16:8

    January 10

Matt 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by

bread alone, but by every Word that proceedeth out of the mouth of

    God.

The Bible declares that we live by the Word of God. It therefore follows that God's

Word is our life. You see, we were born of God's Word to live by the same Word that

sourced us. We are offsprings of the Word of God. To make the Word of God work for

you, you have to come to the place of total acceptance that the Word of God is your

life. This is a place where you are configured by the Word to function by it. Your

understanding is shaped and paced by the Word of God. The Word has become an

indispensable part of your daily living. This is what the psalmist opined in Psalm 16:8

I have set the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand I shall

not be moved. The right hand is the place of authority, such that the Word is now

your only and final authority; you are not going to change your mind about it 'I shall

    not be moved'.

Beloved, let the Word give you a mindset. Let the Word pace your goings. Give the

Word right of way. How? In your daily affairs, let the Word guide you. Feed on it by

meditating on it so much that your thoughts and actions are the overflow of God's

Word in your spirit. In Christ Jesus, we do things not because they are in vogue but

because the Word says to do them. Decide to deliberately meditate on God's Word

constantly and it will make all the difference in your life.

Heavenly Father, I give Your Word first place in my life, I meditate in your Word day

and night till it becomes my way of thinking. Thank you because your Word is at work

in me both to will and to do of your good pleasure, in Jesus Name. Amen.

    Have You Not Read?1 Tim 4:13; Josh 1:8; Ps 119:97; Ps 1:1-3

    January 11

1Tim. 4:13 Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to

    doctrine.

Meditation starts with reading. Some Christian folks are too quick to jump into

conclusions from Scriptures when they have not even gathered enough facts from

what the Word of God presents. Spending qualitative time reading God's Word is

necessary for qualitative meditation. A good student of the Bible must be studious

when it comes to reading God's Word, so as to have what to meditate on. To read

God's Word is to run through all the facts the Word presents to us. We consider who

said what, when it was said, how it was said, where it was said and to whom it was

said. In reading God's Word, we consider what God says and what He does not say.In

meditation, it is important to first of all gather the facts and also read in context, so

Scriptures can be compared with Scriptures. People who do not take time to read

make mistakes, because they do not have a rounded understanding of what the Bible

    says about such subject matters.

There are different ways of reading the Bible; it can be topical reading; for instance

what does the Bible say about the topic or subject of prayer? Or it could be character

reading; that is, gathering facts about the lives of Bible Characters, for example

Moses David, Esther etc. It could also be book reading of the Bible, for example the

book of Isaiah, Matthew, Revelation etc.

Learn to read out loud God's Word, for faith comes by hearing (audible hearing) God's

Word (Rom 10:17).Gathering facts is an important part of meditation. Please, give

attention to reading God's Word. Utilize the methods of reading God's Wordmentioned above and do it consistently. Do not err, my beloved brethren(James

    1:16)

Heavenly Father, I receive grace to give attention to Your Word, to consistentlyread and meditate on Your Word till it dwells in me richly in Jesus Name! Amen!

The Classroom of the Holy Ghost1 Timothy 4:15, Joshua 1:8

    January 12

Jos 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but

thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe

to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make

thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

The Holy Spirit is one who brings the realities of the Word of God to us; He ministers

    the understanding of God's Word to us. Meditation is the classroom of the Holy Ghost;

this is where he fulfills his primary role as the Revealer. God's Word is not like readingan article from the newspapers and so should not be treated as such. To truly

understand God's Word, you have to know the Spirit of God. Whereof I am made a

minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to

fulfil the word of God; Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and

from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would

    make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles;

which is Christ in you, the hope of glory (Col 1:25-27)

The Word of God is a mystery but not unto Believers. Only those that have the Spirit of

God in them can truly understand the Word of God. The scripture says The natural

man receiveth not the things of God for they are foolishness unto him (1 Cor

2:14) This reveals the importance of the ministry of the Holy Spirit in the life of the

    Believer.

You give the Holy Spirit room to fulfill his teaching ministry in the place of meditation.

Set aside quality time daily to meditate on the Word of God; by so doing the Word of

God will be made so plain to you. It is at this point that you can then begin to act on

God's Word consciously i.e. observing to do as it is written therein. (Jos 1:8)

Heavenly Father, I receive grace to give attention to Your Word, to consistently

and thoughtfully read and meditate on your Word until it dwells in me richly, inJesus Name. AMEN.

ZOE - The Life of GodRom 6:23; 1 John 5:11-13

    January 13

Rom. 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal

life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

1 John 5:11 And this is the record that God has given to us eternal life

and this life is in his Son.

The very day you confessed Jesus as your Lord and believed in your heart that God

raised Him from the dead, you received, right there and then, the gift of eternal lifeinto your spirit. Zoe is the very life of God; it is God's own nature; it is eternal life.

Eternal life is life as God has it. It is life in the nature and class of God. It is life as the

Son of God and as everyone in Him, have it.

Eternal life is not just longevity of life, as in everlasting life. It first and foremost

reveals a quality of life before it stresses on quantity. It is not so much of giving up

your old life as much as it is receiving the life of God. There is no special qualification

required to receive eternal life, other than faith in God through Jesus Christ, the Lord.

There is no price tag on it, for it is strictly a gift of God to everyone who believes. The

gift is available to anyone and everyone who receives Jesus as their Lord. The

moment anyone receives Jesus as his Lord and Saviour, he becomes a possessor of

    eternal life.

1 John 5:13These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of

the Son of God that ye know that ye have eternal life.

Thank you Father, for giving unto me Your very own Life. Now I have received the

life of God through faith in Your Son, Jesus Christ. AMEN.

The Reason for ZoeGen 2:17; John 10:10

    January 14

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal and to kill and to

destroy; I am come that they might have life, and that they might have

    it more abundantly.

Gen 2:17 The very day you eat the fruit of the tree of the knowledge

of good and evil thou shalt surely die.

God, having created all things, made man the king of His creation. He gave man the

fruits of the earth to enjoy by way of demonstrating His love to him. God also did want

man to reciprocate His revealed love. He gave man commandment not to eat of the

fruits of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Man fell by transgressing thecommandment of God. He breached the trust of God by a deliberate act of

    disobedience.

The consequence of the disobedience was death. Death is not cessation of life, but

separation from life. Life is not just existence, but a form of existence; a nature. Life is

as much a nature as death. Death is the consequence of sin. Man did not immediately

drop dead like a log of wood the moment he ate the fruit, instead he dropped into a

lower quality of life characterized by fear, shame, insecurity, vulnerability, sin andother characteristics of the natural life. In other words, he was separated from the

Life of God which is characterized by dominion. In fact he took on the devil's nature

and he became subject to the devil, to sicknesses and to death. Man became a

bonafide child of the devil (1John 3:9-10).

John 8:44You are of your father the devil and the desires of your father you

will always doJohn 10:10 . I have come that they may have life and have

it more abundantly. The solution to man's state is a New Creation, not a newreformation. He needed to be born again with a new nature that is of the God-kind.

He needed to receive eternal life; the life of God.

    Eternal Life God's Own Nature2 Pet 1:1-4; John 10:28; 1 John 5:13

    January 15

2 Pet. 1:4 Whereby are we given unto us exceedingly great &

precious promises; that by these ye might be partakers of the divine

nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through

    lust.

Eternal life is the nature of God. It comes with all the attributes and possibilities of

divinity. It is God's ability to live like Him in all the many sidedness of the divine life. It

is living life at the level and quality of divinity. When we became born again, wereceived the nature of God into our spirit. We became partakers of the divine nature.

It came with all God is and can do.

Salvation is not conversion; it's not renovation; it's not conformation. It is New Birth.

It is a spiritual, biological, genetic reality. Everything reproduces after its own kind.

When we became born again, we were reproduced after His kind (nature) in the New

Creation. The Word declares, Therefore if any man be in Christ he is a New

Creation, old things are passed away behold all things have become new. And

all these (new) things are of God.2 Cor. 5:17-18.

At New Birth, Deity became wrapped up in humanity. The New Birth is the possibility

of divinity and humanity fellowshipping in a homogeneous, organic oneness. The

frailty of the human life can now be overwhelmed by the divine life. Every defect and

deficiency of the natural life can now be overcome by the superior realities of the

    divine Life.

Beloved, you must train yourself to take your reference point from your divine nature,

and not the weaknesses of the natural human life.

    The Integrity of God's Word1 John 1:1; John 10:35; Num 23:19

    January 16

Num 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of

man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or

hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

God's Word is infallible because He is infallible. The integrity of God's Word is

predicated upon His flawless integrity. God and His Word are one. God's Word is as

potent and reliable as Himself. God's Word is not some theory or concept that fadesout or becomes obsolete with time. God's Word is eternal; though timeless, yet very

much timely. However, it is not limited by time.

The Word of God is always true and does not change. It is not circumstantial; it is

universal. It is not relative; it is absolute. The integrity of God's Word simply means:

God's intent, will or purpose revealed through His Word. He will not say one thing and

mean or do another. He cannot deny Himself; He is so faithful that you can bank on

    His Word. God is credible.

Our confidence in the integrity of God's Word is born out of faith in the person of God.

God is truthful, righteous and holy, and so is His Word. We can depend on God's Word

as much as we can depend on God. When we come to this understanding, it becomes

easier to accept God's Word for what it is and function by it in our daily living.

My God is true, faithful and holy and so is His Word. God is one with his Word and

because God cannot fail, His Word to me cannot fail. Thank You, my Father, for

Your faithfulness is revealed to me abundantly. Amen.

    Divine CreativityGen 1:1-3, 2:19-20; Mark 11: 12-14, 20-24; 2 Pet 1:4

    January 17

2 Tim 1:6-8 For this reason, I am reminding you to fan the flame, the

gift of God that is within you through the laying on of my hands For

One of the first manifestations of the divine nature is creativity. To become a partaker

of the divine nature is to share in the creative ability of divinity. Man, by virtue of the

New Birth, is a partaker of the creative life of God. Man, in the beginning, expressed

creativity when he named every created animal.

Jesus manifested this aspect of the divine nature when He cursed the fig tree. The fig

tree dried up to its root. He further stated that anybody with the God Kind of Faith

could do the same. Mark 11:23For verily I say unto you, whosoever shall say

unto this mountain be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea; and shall

not doubt in his heart but shall believe that those things which he saith shall

come to pass, he shall have whatsoever he saith.

With the creative life of God in us, we can create the world of our dream through the

spoken Word. Our words are creative. Our words are kingly. Our world ought not be

full of darkness and gloom because we are vessels of the creative life of God. The

same way God said: let there be light, and light was, we can command in the same

manner and get awesome results. We have the God-kind of Faith, and we can create

our world by speaking the Word of God.

Within us lie the solutions to daunting challenges in our world. Innovations that will

develop our economies, families and governments are products of this creative life,

which is inherent in us. In him was life and the life was the light of menJohn

1:4. Light stands for progress, advancement, innovation, creativity and proactivity.

Whatever we are involved in ought to be different because the creative life of God is in

us. Therefore, dare to stand out in your endeavour for the glory of God.

Heavenly Father, I thank You that I have the Divine Life in me, which facilitates

The Ruling LifeRomans 5:17; Gen 1:26-27; Mark 4:37-39

    January 18

Rom 5:17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much

more they which receive abundance of grace and the gift of

righteousness shall reign in life by one Jesus Christ.

Gen 1:26 And God said let us make man in our own image after our

likeness and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over

    the fowl of the air...

Dominion is an attribute of the divine life. God cannot be ruled over by anything or

anyone. He is always in charge of every situation and circumstance. Man wasdesigned to dominate, not to be dominated. Little wonder he detests oppression.

God, in the beginning, crowned man king over all the works of His hands. He made

man to have dominion over the birds of the air, fishes of the sea and every creeping

being that creeps on the earth. By virtue of the divine life we received at New Birth,

we possess the dominating, kingly authority of God to reign and to rule over creation.

Jesus demonstrated dominion in ruling over the raging of the sea, lack, sin and every

negative thing that came His way. He was indeed the ruling, reigning Son of God.Remember, . As He is, so are we in this worldI John 4:17

Royalty, a part of Divinity, finds expression in the New Man by faith. The Life of God in

us makes us masters over any situation or circumstance that may come our way. This

confers on us the ability to function daily as though fear, failure and lack do not exist.

Jesus, our Perfect Example, was asleep on a pillow in the face of apparent shipwreck.

You can face any situation with the same boldness because you are a Possessor of the

    ruling, reigning life of God.

Father I thank You that I have Your very life in me, therefore I rule over every

The Word of LifeJohn 6:68; 2 Pet 1:3-4

    January 19

John 6:68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord to whom shall we

go? Thou hast the words of Eternal Life.

2 Pet. 1:3-4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious

promises that by these you may be partakers of the divine nature.

It is impossible to participate in the divine life to any appreciable degree without the

Words of Eternal Life. The words of Eternal Life are the exceeding great and precious

promises in God's Word that describe how the Life of God functions. The Word of Godreveals the dimensions of the Divine Life and how to access them. My son attend to

my words, incline your ear to my sayings, let them not depart from thine eyes,

keep them in the midst of thine heart; For they are life to those that find them,

and health to all their flesh.Prov. 4:20-22. Health and life are accessed through

    the Word of God.

Beloved, give attention to the Word of Life. Let them dominate your thoughts, speech

and actions. This is when the life of God can find expression through your speech,

thoughts and actions. Let thoughts of divine health which emerge from God's Word

rule your mind on every occasion and as you do this, health will undoubtedly manifest

    in your body.

Refuse to accept thoughts that do not line up with the life of God in you. Instead of

expecting sicknesses every month, begin to expect the health God's Word says is

yours. Whatever dominates your thoughts will rule your life and will eventually find

expression in your life, as you cannot think death every time and expect results

consistent with the life of God.

Stick your mind on God's Word and see God's life find expression in and through you.

Lay Hold on Eternal Life!1 Tim 6:12; Mark 4:14-15

    January 20

1 Tim 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, where

    unto thou hath also called

The Word of God is Life (John 6:63). The knowledge of God is eternal life (John

17:1-3). Laying hold on Eternal Life is laying hold on God's Word. The enemy is

always seeking to steal the Word of God. This is because it is our contact with God and

His life. Mark 4:14-15The sower soweth the Word and these are they by the

way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh

immediately and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.

The Word of God is the seed for the manifestation of the Life of God. Circumstances

may be contrary to the Word but the fight of faith lays hold on the Word of God in the

face of contrary circumstances. Faith focuses on the Word of God alone, not on the

contrary circumstances. This means two things: firstly, to maintain a confession of

the Word of God in the face of financial, marital, health challenges and not allowing

the circumstances pressurize you into saying things that are not in line with God's

word; and secondly, acting in line with what the Word says in the face of contrary

    circumstances.

Beloved, it takes the fight of faith to lay hold on eternal life. The fight of faith is holding

    unto God's Word in the face of daunting, contrary physical evidences. For example;

in the midst of lack, you still choose to stay on the giving side of life because the Word

of God says to give and it will be given back to you. When you give in the midst of lack,

the life of God is released for abundance in all you do.

Beloved, remember that anyone who is born of God is not of this world. We stay stuckto the Word against all odds and storms of life. This is how to lay hold on eternal life.

Refuse to flinch. Refuse to cave in to contrary evidences against your faith in God's

Word, knowing this: 'there is nothing that can be done against the truth, but for

    the truth'

Other Scriptures for Meditation: Luke 8:5-15; Jam 1:22-25; 2 Cor 4:13

Heavenly Father, I thank You that my faith is working and all things work together

for my good. I refuse to consider the storms of life; but I rise above every storm

for my focus is on the Word of God, which puts me over in every area of life in

    Jesus Name. AMEN. 8

    A Demonstration of Life1 John 1:1-2; John 1:4; John 5:24-27

1 John 1:1-2 That which was from the beginning, which we have

heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon,

and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (For the life was

manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you

that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto

    us.

Jesus demonstrated Zoe for us to see the dynamic out-workings of the divine life. He

had no consciousness of insufficiency, weakness or fear. He multiplied loaves of bread

and fishes when confronted with lack. He calmed the raging of the sea by His

command. He prevailed over the laws of nature through the exercise of the laws of

the divine life. His life was not subject to circumstances. He, undoubtedly,

demonstrated that the divine life is indeed kingly.

Not only did He come to teach us lessons in the divine life, He also came to bestow it

on humanity with awesome graciousness and benevolence. John 10:10The thief

cometh not, but for to steal, kill and destroy. I have come that you may have life

and have it more abundantly. He who has the Son of God has received eternal life.We have become Partakers of the divine nature.

Jesus is our Perfect Example. To demonstrate and manifest the divine life, we must

look unto Jesus in all things that pertain to life and godliness (Heb 12:1-2). To look to

Jesus is to look to the Word of God, for Jesus is the Living Word (John 1:1-3, 14). We

    cannot look to Jesus and not know how to go well and do well in life. He is our wisdom;

    our correct perception of reality.

Beloved, feed Jesus into you by feeding on God's Word. Be an imitator of Jesus as you

act out God's Word that has been built into you. Speak forth Jesus by speaking forth

the Word of God in your spirit. This is how to demonstrate the divine life. Remember,

Jesus is this Eternal Life and His life reveals to us how this eternal life functions.

    Abundant MeasureJohn 10:10; John 7:37-39

    January 22

John 10:10 I have come that you may have life and have it moreabundantly.

John 7:38-39 ...He that believeth on me as the Scripture hath said,

out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. But this spake he of the

spirit which they that believe on him should receive; for the Holy

Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.

Eternal life is in measures. God wants us to have his Life in a super abundant

measure. Eternal Life is what we received at New Birth. However, Jesus describes an

overwhelming measure of Eternal Life as a RIVER flowing out of the belly of the

believer. In other words, the infilling of the Holy Spirit is the initiation into the

abundant measure of Eternal Life. The initial evidence of this is speaking with other

tongues (Acts 2:4). This is the dimension of Life that is much more than you can

exhaust. It is the fullness of life that alters the course of a whole family, a State and a

    Nation.

God's intent is not just to change us, but also to change the world through us. Thank

God for the measure of the Life that changed us, but there is a measure that will

change the world through us. It is the abundant measure of life that can influence our

world through us. This is the dimension the infilling of the Holy Spirit offers. This

dimension unleashes the manifestation of the Omnipotence, Omniscience of God.

But the manifestation of the spirit is given to every man to profit withal1Cor

12:7 The Believer can fully manifest God as he stays consistently filled with the Spirit

    of God.

    And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and

making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all thingsunto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; - Eph 5:18-20

This is a deeper measure of Eternal Life; our quest should be to manifest this Life in

the richest measure. Jesus came for this purpose.

    Fan It To Flame!2 Tim 1:6-8; Gal 5:25; 1 Cor 12:7-11

    January 23

2 Tim 1:6-8 For this reason, I am reminding you to fan the flame, the

gift of God that is within you through the laying on of my hands For

God did not give us the spirit of timidity but one of power, love and

    self-discipline.

The Word of God places on the Believer the responsibility of stirring up the gift of God

in him. God gave the gift; however, it is our responsibility to stir it up. Just as God

planted the Garden of Eden for Adam to keep and tend it, so has He given to us His gift

to be nurtured and to be stirred up by us.

Salvation is a gift of God to us. The Holy Spirit indwelling and infilling is a gift of God to

us. Our callings, ministries, talents are all gifts of God to us. It is our responsibility to

stir them up constantly. How? This is done through the words of faith we proclaim

consistently, through prayers and by engaging them in active and profitable use.

If the gifts appear to be dormant or inactive over time, what to do is not to pray for

another gift; but to fan to flame the gift already received, forthe gifts and calling ofGod can never change.(Rom 11:29). Whatever gift you have been given can be

    rekindled by you.

Beloved, you must admit personal responsibility for the gift of God in you, and not

leave it up to God to rekindle. Decide to rekindle the gifts today as you admit personal

responsibility for the development and use of them.

salvation package purchased by the death of Jesus Christ. This is established insecond Timothy 1:9Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not

according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which

was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began.

Anyone who is saved by grace through faith is a New Creature in Christ Jesus, as

established in 2 Corinthians 5:17: If any man be in Christ, he is a New

Creature Ephesian 2:8 states: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and

that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: The word savedactually means tokeep safe and sound, to rescue from danger or destruction, to heal, to preserve, to

make whole. The idea salvation portrays is wholeness, that is, deliverance and safety.

The Bible asserts that the whole world lies in wickedness (1 John 5:19).

Beloved, it should gladden your heart today that though the whole world lies in

darkness, yet by the Grace bypass you are in the Light. This is one of the major

reasons you ought to share the Gospel with your unsaved friends and neighbours.

Heavenly Father, I thank You for by the Grace bypass I am saved and safe. I amexempted from all evil and I declare that I am far from oppression. I live in the

liberty of the saints in Jesus Name. AMEN.

    Abundance of GraceRom 5:17-19; 2 Cor 12:9

    January 25

Rom 5:17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; muchmore they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of

righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.

The Believer, in Christ, has received ABUNDANT GRACE Grace without measure.

In Christ there isn't any deficiency of grace. We have abundance of grace in

overflowing, matchless measures in Christ Jesus. It is to help us in time of need (Heb

4:16). We have unreserved access to grace at the mercy seat of the Father. We can

come boldly to access all that has been reserved for us in Christ. 2 Corinthians 12:9

establishes the sufficiency of God's grace: And he said unto me, my grace issufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness...

For all your endeavors from the trivial to the most important, be rest assured that

there is sufficient grace to accomplish them. God is able to unleash all grace upon you

to the end that all that He has put in your heart to birth on earth is accomplished. God

is the God of all grace (I Pet 5:10), and He can make all grace abound toward you.

2 Cor 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye,

always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.2 Cor 9:14 And by their prayer for you, which long after you for the exceeding

    grace of God in you.

Beloved, as we learn to pray in faith, we receive the abundant grace God has made

available to us in Christ Jesus before the foundation of the world. You can leap over a

wall and do valiantly because of the grace of God at work in you. You can fulfill your

God-given dreams by the Grace of God. You can say like the Apostle Paul: But by

the grace of God I am what I amI Cor15:10

Grace is the distinguishing feature of the New Covenant; it is the identifying character

of this new dispensation. Grace is the summary of the New Creation life in Christ

Jesus. Receive grace, today! It is abundantly available.

I thank You Father for I have received abundance of grace and it is sufficient to beall You have ordained me to be in this life in Jesus name. Therefore, I come boldly

to Your throne to find grace and obtain mercy to help in time of need.

    Grace Defined2 Cor 8:9; Titus 3:7; 2 Tim 1:9

    January 26

2 Cor 8:9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though

he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his

    poverty might be rich.

Grace is God's goodness and benevolence directed towards man at the expense of the

sacrificial Lamb of God (Jesus Christ). Simply put, Jesus Christ took man's fallen state

enabling man to take His (Jesus') exalted state. Grace is all that God is, bestowed on

man to become all that God has created him to be. It is God's vital involvement in

man, working out His perfect will through him. How better can we please God?Pleasing God by His own ability at work in us! What a life! The Word of God declares in

Ephesians 2:5-6 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together

with Christ, by (grace ye are saved; and hath raised us up together, and made

us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

Beloved, you have a legitimate right to experience a living relationship with God,

sound health and prosperity, all at the expense of Jesus Christ's death. Jesus didn't

die for Himself. There was no guile or transgression found in Him. However, He bore

our pain, sorrow, shame and death. His judgment on the cross was for our

emancipation. It was for our prosperity that He was crushed on the cross. Rom. 4:25

Who was delivered for our offenses, and was raised again for our

justification. Rom. 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the

redemption that is in Christ Jesus.

You can declare boldly that you are free from sin and all its consequences because you

have received the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ; you are free to live big for and in

Christ. John 8:36 Whosoever the Son makes free is free indeed.

Thank You Heavenly Father for the gift of Your grace. I declare that I am rich,

    Grace Is a PersonJohn 1:14-17; Rom 5:1-2

    January 27

John 1:14-17 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,

(and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the

Father,) full of grace and truth. And of his fullness have all we

received, and grace for grace. For the law was given by Moses, but

grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

Grace is a not a concept, nor a doctrine, nor an idea, nor a set of creed. Grace is in the

person of Jesus Christ. The Bible asserts that Jesus is full of grace and truth. It is of His

fullness that we all have received grace for grace. Evidently, Jesus is the person ofGod's grace that came into the world and became a sacrificial Lamb that took away

the sin of the world so we can partake of His Grace (the goodness of God). He brought

grace and truth (reality) to us. We are, undoubtedly, the offsprings of God's grace!

Having come to terms with the fact that Grace is in the person of Jesus Christ, it

follows that fellowshipping with Him is romancing the grace of God. You may be

wondering how do you fellowship with Jesus - the person of God's Grace? Well it

starts by believing that He died for you and was raised from the dead, and confessing

Him as your Lord. Rom 10:9-10, then fellowshipping with the Word, for Jesus is the

Word of God made flesh. John 1:1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word

was with God, and the Word was God. And then in John 1:14 the Bible states:

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory,

the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Jesus Christ, who is the person of God's Grace is also the Word of God. Hence,

meditating on God's Word is equivalent to interacting or fellowshipping with Jesus the

person of God's Grace. Beloved, as you meditate upon and speak God's Word, you are

    fellowshipping with Grace.

Other Scriptures for Meditation: Eph 1:6-7; Gal 1:1-6; Josh 1:8; Pro 4:20-22

I thank You Father for Jesus Christ is the person of Your Grace and that I can

fellowship with Him every day. I declare that by Your Holy Spirit, Jesus becomes real

to me today in Jesus Name. AMEN.

Victory Over SinJohn 19:16-30; Rom 6:14; Rom 6:4-7

    January 28

Rom 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are notunder the law, but under grace.

Under the Law, sin reigned and ruled because of the Law and the weakness of the

flesh (human nature). Rom10:2. The Law could not minister righteousness to those

under it because of the knowledge of sin that it ministered to it recipients, which in

turn ministered condemnation. Condemnation ministered death (separation from

God) because of the feeling of unworthiness to approach God. Nonetheless, those

who are in Christ Jesus are no longer under the Law, but under Grace (Rom 6:14).

God's grace is the only cure for sin and sinning. What the law couldn't do because of

the sinful nature of man, God sent in His Son to fulfill the Law so that the righteous

requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us. We are no longer under the guilt of sin

nor the condemnation of the Law. We are under the righteousness of grace and its

ability to live above sin. Hallelujah!

Our salvation came by grace, not by keeping the Law. It is maintained by grace. When

Jesus gave up the Ghost on the cross, He said: 'It is finished'. This means, sin isfinished; guilt and condemnation are finished. Grace can now be ministered to

everyone who believes in Jesus Christ. We, who have believed and confessed the

Lordship of Jesus Christ, are free from the compelling power of sin.

Under the Old Covenant, man tried to obey the Law but always defaulted for by

the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.Gal 2:16. But thank God we have

come into the grace zone; it's not a license to sin but an empowerment to live in

righteousness. Now, righteousness, not sin, lords it over us.Rom 6:17-18But Godbe thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart

that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Being then made free from sin,

ye became the servants of righteousness. Beloved, Grace is your divine license to

live right. Receive it by faith, today; for it is abundantly available in Christ.

Dead Indeed To SinRom 6:1-23; Rom 8:9-10

    January 29

Rom 6:11 Likewise reckon ye yourself to be dead indeed to sin butalive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

The principles of God's kingdom are so simple that one could overlook them. Many think

God is so complex that they can't understand Him. Some even think He can't be

understood at all. However, the Believer in Christ has been given to know the mysteries

of God's kingdom. The Apostle Paul exclaimed in 2 Cor 11:3But I fear, lest by any

means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be

corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. The sin problem has been solved and

the how to living above the temptations of sin has been simplified in the Word of God.

The key word in the opening Scripture is RECKON. To reckon means to deem it fit, to

account oneself, to consider or think oneself as. Here is the active point ofRomans

6:11, 'RECKON' means to consider, to think oneself as dead unto sin but alive unto God.

Beloved, you need to see yourself as dead INDEED unto sin. This is the truth that the

Word of God presents to us. When Jesus was crucified, we (the old nature) were

crucified with Him. When He died, we died with Him. When He was buried, we were

buried with Him. When He was raised from the dead, we (the new man) were raisedtogether with Him (Rom 6:8 -11). This is the principle of identification with Christ.

The old man (sin nature) is the reason for sinning. He was crucified with Christ (Gal

2:20). Now, we can reckon ourselves (old selves) dead with Christ Jesus that the new

self may live in the fullness of righteousness. You don't respond to sin any more. You are

dead to it. You only respond to righteousness. Hallelujah!

Now, stop thinking of yourself as a forgiven, old wretched sinner. You are not a sinner

anymore! The old sinner-man died with Christ. This new man in Christ is a righteous

man (2 Cor 5:17). All you need to do now is to renew your mind to the truth of God's

Word. Reckon yourself to be dead indeed unto sin, and alive unto God through our Lord

    Jesus Christ. Shalom!

I thank You Heavenly Father for I am dead indeed to sin and alive unto You. I declare

that I am free from the claws of sin and I respond to righteousness in Jesus Name.

    AMEN.

The Name of JesusPhil 2:5-11; John 14:13-14

    January 30

John 14:13-14 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my Name, that will Ido, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing

in my name, I will do [it].

From the Scripture above, we understand that the Name of Jesus in the mouth of the

Believer brings Jesus on the scene. Jesus said, If you demand anything in my name I

will do it. This reveals the authority given to the Believer, in Christ Jesus, to use the

name of Jesus. We can demand anything in the name of Jesus Christ and He will grant

it unto us. This is the power of attorney He gave us to exercise authority in His name.

God has made Jesus Christ Lord over all things in heaven, on earth and under theearth. Over the three realms of existence, Jesus Christ reigns as Lord.

Phil. 2:9-11Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a

name which is above every name, That at the name of Jesus every knee should

bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And

that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God

    the Father.

The Church has not yet come to the full awareness of the benefits and the power

invested in that Name. When we do, we will transform our world the same way Jesus

did His when He walked on the earth. When we come to the knowledge that the same

Jesus with whom nothing is impossible, is present whenever we call His Name, then

we will become bold to use His Name. The truth is, when His name is called, He comes

on the scene. He and His name are one. He is not apart from His name. It means that

when you command sicknesses or diseases to leave in Jesus' name, He will drive

them out. When you cast out demons and evil spirits in His Name, He will see to it thatthey are evicted.

When we pray in His name, we should bear in mind that it is as though Jesus Himself

were asking of the Father and this guarantees us answers every time we pray in His

Salvation In The Name of JesusActs 4:1-21; Acts 2:21; John 14:6

    January 31

Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none

other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be

    saved.

Jesus is the only way to the Father. He said that no man can come unto the Father but

by Him. Salvation is not in believing or calling on the name of an angel, it is in the

name of Jesus. John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave He power

to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name.

The Apostles preached in the Name of Jesus and did many wonders in that Name, so

much that they were supposed for supermen, in that name (Acts 3:15-16). In that

name, many awesome works were wrought. Indeed, it was and still is an awesome

name. As the Scripture says in Acts2:21, that whoever shall call on the name

of the Lord shall be saved. Not only will that name save you (in that you get born

again), it will also save you from fear, attacks, accidents, oppression etc. Just call on

that name in faith, and awesome deeds will be wrought. Pro 18:10 The name of

the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

Beloved, not only does the name of Jesus save from sin, it also saves from its

consequences. He has given us the right to use His name to make demands for

unfailing deliveries. Whatever you ask in that name is sure to materialize. God is true

to His Word to perform it. God's Word is sure to deliver what it talks about.

Faith in the name of Jesus will produce awesome results to the glory of God. Use that

name in faith and Jesus will come on the scene to perform everything you demand in

    that name.

Love: The Way to VictoryGal 5:22-23; Rom 5:5-8

    February 1

Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is Love

God is love and He exemplified His Love towards us by sending forth His Son to come

and die for our sins. What a practical demonstration of His love for humanity (John

3:16). Nothing can be more graphic! God is love (I John 4:8, 16). He does not have

love; He is love. This is God's fundamental nature. He is essentially a love Being.

Everyone who is born of God is born of Love, for God is love. The Believer therefore, is

a love being. The love of God is shed abroad in our heart by the Holy Spirit in us (Rom

    5:5).

Just as much as God has loved us by sending His Son to die for our sins, we can extend

the same love to other people by giving ourselves for the purpose of their edification.

We love other people with our resources to the end that they are refreshed and then

abound in thanksgiving unto God. This is how we live in Christ. This is the way of

victory that will always ensure unfailing triumph constantly. Love is the greatest force

of life without which life is not realizable. It is the force that ensures constant victory.

Hatred, wickedness and all evil will bow where Love thrives. 1 Cor 13:13 And now

abideth faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is LOVE.

The New Man is a Lover by nature. He is ruled and governed by love. The New

Commandment of love is his matching order. Love has become the King of our lives.

Our affairs are ordered by love. John 13:34-35A new commandment I give unto

you. That ye love one another as I have loved you, that ye also love one

another. By this shall all men know ye are my disciples if ye have love one

towards another.Put Love first today and victory is assured. Love never fails, italways wins.

Healing in the Name of JesusMark 16:17-18; Acts 3:1-16

    February 2

    Mark 16:17-18 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In myname shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall

not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

One of the signs Jesus said will follow the Believer in His name is healing through the

laying on of hands. He said the Believer shall lay hands on the sick and they shall

recover, undoubtedly. This is the truth from the mouth of the Truth Himself. Nothing

can be more true. This is the finality of truth; the totality of reality. Beloved, you can

bank on His Word. He is honest and credible.

John 14:6Jesus said to him, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one

comes to the Father except through me.

In Acts 3:6-7, Peter exercised faith in the Name of Jesus and the man who was lame

from his mother's womb at the gate called beautiful, received strength in his feet and

ankle bones to have his maiden walk. The key to that miracle was hidden in verse 16

of that chapter: And HIS NAME THROUGH FAITH IN HIS NAME hath made this

man strong..(Acts 3:16). It was faith in the name of Jesus that gave the lameman perfect soundness.

When we believe that the Name will do what Jesus said it will and we use it in faith,

then it will produce awesome results. We cast out demons in that Name; we heal the

sick (malaria, typhoid, cancer, tuberculosis, name it) in that Name because Jesus has

paid for our sickness and disease by His blood (1 Pet. 2:24).

Beloved, believe in the Name and you can eradicate sickness in your house and

neighborhood. The name of Jesus works wonders. Hallelujah! at the name ofJesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and

Praying In the Name of Jesus

    John 16:23-24;

    February 3

John 16:23-24 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily,

I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will

give it you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye

shall receive, that your joy may be full.

Jesus gave us, in His Name, a blank cheque to fill with whatever we desire from His

Father. What a privilege! Jesus is the only way to the Father (John 14:6). His name is

our sure access to the Father. We cannot receive anything from the Father in anyother name other than the name of Jesus. By the authority of God's Word, we are to

come to the Father in the name of Jesus.

Beloved, when we come to the Father in the name of Jesus, it is as though Jesus were

before the Father to ask of Him. We are one with Him in that name. In that name, the

Father sees us in Him and Him in us. Halleluyah! We are no longer strangers in His

presence because we have come in the name of Jesus (Eph 2:12-13). In that name

we are heirs with God and joint-heirs with Christ Jesus.

Now we are the children of God and He is our Father(1 John 3:1-2). So we can ask

the Father for whatever we desire because we are his children. Jesus tells us how to

pray, .when you pray, say our FatherWe are not to pray to Jesus, we are not

to pray to angels, we are not to pray to any man or woman in the Bible. We also don't

pray in the name of angels because our prayers will not be answered if we pray that

way. Our prayers must be addressed simply to our Father in Jesus' Name.

Praying to the Father in the Name of Jesus guarantees the Father's answer and Jesus'

endorsement. Beloved, ask the Father for something today in the Name of Jesus and

you will see the result of your obedience to God's Word.

    Other Scriptures for Meditation: John 15:16; 1 John 5:13-15; John 14: 13-14

Exercising Our Authorityin His Name (I)

    Luke 10:19; Matt 28:18

    February 4

Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and

scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by

    any means hurt you.

The word used here for 'power' is 'authority' in the Greek rendering. Jesus has given

unto us authority over snakes, scorpions and over ALL, not some of the powers or

dominion of the enemy. In addition, it says we shall rule over the enemy's entire

power and nothing shall by any means hurt us. 1Peter 5:8 says your adversary, the devilThe devil is our adversary, not human beings. Our real enemies are not

human beings. They can yield themselves to demons to influence them. However, the

devil and his cohorts are our enemies.

Eph. 6:12For we are not fighting against people made of flesh and blood, but

against the evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against those

mighty powers of darkness who rule this world, and against wicked spirits in

the heavenly realms.[NLT] Jesus said all authority in heaven and on earth hasbeen given unto Him and He gave that same authority unto us to use against all the

powers of the enemy which include sickness, disease, oppression, demons and all

their activities. In exercising our authority, the first thing we must know is that our

adversary is the devil and not our fellow brethren. We must renew our minds to the

fact that the real enemy is the devil.

2 Cor 10:3-4 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not WAR after the flesh:

(for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the

    pulling down of strong holds.

[NIV]: We are human but we don't wage war as humans do

This implies that as human beings, we don't fight one another, we Love one another.

The real enemy is the devil.

Heavenly Father, I am not unaware of the schemes of the devil. I exercise my

authority over all the powers of the devil and his demons in Jesus' Name. AMEN.

Exercising Our Authorityin His Name II

    Luke 10:19, Luke 7:6-10

    February 5

Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents

and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and

nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Jesus Christ, in His earthly ministry, exercised authority over sicknesses, diseases,

storms and all situations and circumstances of life. He is our Perfect Example. We are

to look unto Him in the demonstration of the divine life. He is our wisdom.

In the name of Jesus, the Believer in Christ has authority over the created world. It

was bestowed on us to rule over the created world. We, by new birth, are Kings

together with Jesus Christ. Hence, it is not to be put to the debate that we are heirs of

God and joint-heirs with Jesus Christ. We are power-brokers! However, the

knowledge of our authority in Christ is as important as its technical know-how.

The biblical account of how the Centurion received healing for his servant clearly

precipitates the use of authority. Authority is delegated right or power to act on behalf

of somebody else. It is a legal permission to take somebody else's place in action as

though he/she were there in person. The key to exercising authority is AWARENESS.

The centurion knew that he had authority over all the 100 soldiers assigned to him

and he knew that all he had to do was say the word and they would carry it out. The

Roman Emperor gave him that authority and every soldier under him knew it. In the

same vein, Jesus conferred on us the right to use His name to rule over the created

    world.

Beloved, you must come to this awareness by meditating on this truth, deeply andconsistently. This will enable you exercise your God-given authority effectively.

Heavenly Father, I thank You for the authority I have in the Name of Jesus. I amconscious of this authority and I exercise it over every situation I encounter, inJesus' name. AMEN.

Exercising Our Authorityin His Name III

    Acts 16:16-18; Luke 10:19

    February 6

Acts 16:16-18 And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain

damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which

brought her masters much gain by soothsaying: The same

followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the

servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of

salvation. And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved,

turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus

Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.

Beloved, faith in the name of Jesus enables you to act in His stead with boldness and

conviction. Faith is the assurance of your hope coming to pass. It is the evidence of

the things not yet seen. By faith, you can exercise authority the way the Apostle Paul

did in our opening text. He knew who he was in Christ, and he did not hesitate to

make his God-given authority manifest by faith.

Faith is never void of a corresponding action. It always goes with an accompanying

deed. If you truly believe that Jesus is your Lord and that He has given you authorityover the demoniacal world, then you will not be afraid to exercise your authority over

them. Fear is a deed that goes with unbelief just as much as boldness is a deed that

    goes with faith.

Kings don't suggest, neither do they beg. They command (Ecc 8:4). We have been

made Kings and Priests unto our God. And hast made us unto our God kings and

priests: and we shall reign on the earth.Rev 5:10. We are not to cry before

poverty, sickness, fear, oppression, depression. We should not even cry before God as

though He has not given us authority. We speak as Kings by faith in His name.

Exercise your authority now by speaking to that disease, condemnation, sickness,

poverty, oppression in the Name that is above every other name.

Heavenly Father, I exercise the authority You have given me in the Name of Jesus byspeaking without doubting in my heart, because I'm confident that the Name of Jesusis efficacious. Hallelujah.

Fruit of the SpiritGal 5:22-23; John 15:1-8

    February 7

Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness,

temperance: against such there is no law.

The fruit of the spirit is the fruit that the Believer bears because he has been born of

God and he is a possessor of the nature of God. Unbelievers can't bear them because

they don't have the nature of God. Jesus is the vine and we are the branches. I am

the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same

bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. John 15:5.

Anyone who is not in union with our Lord Christ Jesus, cannot bear this fruit.

Jesus Christ is the Vine; we are the branches. We understand that fruits grow on the

branches. This means that it is our spirits that bear the fruit. It is not the fruit of the

Holy Spirit. It is the fruit that the recreated human spirit bears. Hence, it is our

responsibility to develop our recreated human spirit to bear love, joy, peace,

longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance.

We have the ability to bear fruit because we are joined to the Vine. The Vine-life is thefruit bearing life that enables us to become fruitful. We must abide in Him to be

fruitful. This simply means to feed on the Word and fellowship with Him constantly.

This is the secret of fruitfulness in Christ Jesus.

Beloved, as we bear fruits, the Father is glorified in His Son, and we in Him.

John 15:8 'Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be

    my disciples'.

Heavenly Father, I take responsibility to bear the fruit of the spirit and I yield myspirit, soul and body to love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance, in Jesus name.

Walking In LoveRom 5:5; John 13:13-35

    February 8

John 13:34-35 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye loveone another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this

shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to

    another.

Love is both expressive and reciprocal. Agape (the God-kind of love) always demands

and creates actions. We can't truly love without showing it. Love is a force of life that

creates love-like actions. God is love.

Beloved, we walk in love by acting on the Word of God. Acting on th
