ROUTINES: “Hello” song, check the weather, moods, “Goodbye” song. WARM UP: We will start the lesson by singing the “Hello” song. After that, we will give each student a piece of cardboard with their names, so that we can recognize them more easily. Then, we will check the weather using the flashcards and immediately after that we will ask the students how they feel today, using a ball. ACTIVITY 1: Type of interaction: individual. Materials: video of the short story, computer, projection classroom and sheet of paper with phrases and images. Macroskills: speaking and listening. We will give students a sheet of paper with phrases and images about the story. We will play the video and pause it every time so that they can number each step in the sequence. Type of interaction: individual Materials: sheet of paper and colours. Macroskills: speaking.

Students will have to color a Venn diagram. They will paint it yellow, blue and the part in the middle green. With that they can tell the story to their parents. For example that when little yellow hugs little blue they turn green and that they are friends.

ACTIVITY 3: Type of interaction: group work. Materials: classroom objects flashcards. Macroskills: speaking. a) We will show students the classroom object flashcards so as to review vocabulary. b) We will point to each classroom object flashcards and students have to say the name of them.

EXTRA ACTIVITY:

Type of interaction: group work. Materials: flashcards and classroom objects. Macroskills: speaking.

a) We will ask students to take different classroom objects previously learnt. We will say a classroom object plus a number

and they have to pick up the object/s and show it/them to us. b) Then, we will ask them what colour that classroom object is.
