A possible solution to this would be to sing the song and create a pleasant atmosphere. Managing to do all the proposed activities in 50 minutes or finishing earlier than expected. In the first case we can give them extra materials to work on. In the second case we can leave out some auxiliary activities.

Lead inThe T. introduces the topicThe T. asks the Ss simple questions like Whats your name?. The T. asks the Ss to repeat after her the Greeting. Then the T. asks the Ss to sing along the Greetings Song.

Extramaterial

The T. pulls over a chair in the middle of the class and shows the Ss. Using body language what each command means. Then she asks the Ss to join her. After several drills the Ss are familiarized with the Classroom Commands.

The T. hands out some worksheet for the Ss to colour them and while doing this she asks them to listen to the Greetings Song and sing along.

As a reward the T. permits the children to play with the class toys.
