Assignments• Read a couple of the assigned articles, 2 or 3 should do (If you

choose “The Heart of the Matter,” skim). Write a ~250 word response to them to post on the subreddit by Sept 16th, and reply to two other students’ responses by Sept 23rd. Upvote stuff you want to talk about during our next class.

• Prepare 1 page double-spaced, discussing your goals and expectations for participating in research. What do you hope to get out of participating in your research project? What do you expect you will be doing? What skills do you think you will develop that will help you later on in your career? How does this experience fit into your overall career goals? Email this to Blaise AND Victoria before next class.

• Send your completed contracts to Blaise AND Victoria ASAP – scan them in the library or email us the information and bring the hardcopy to our next class.
