Theorem 100The area of a parallelogram is equal to the product of the base and the height.
A = bhwhere “b” is the length of the base and “h” is the height
Theorem 101The area of a triangle is equal to one half the product of the base and the
height (or altitude) for that base.A = ½(b x h)
