Introducing the European Language Portfolio (2003)

• It is a systemised collection of documents. It keeps track of the language learner's experiences and competences, even those which cannot be entered in the official school report. The "Biography and Dossier" is in harmony with the "Common European Framework of References".

Project SCALE (2003-2004)

• SCALE is a research project supported by the European Community involving 6 countries: The United Kingdom, France, Finland, Portugal and Hungary. The research aims at devising an internet-based tool which enhances the development of the ability to debate with students between the age of 16 and 18 and their ability to use it in their studies.

• The name of the program is SCALE ("mérleg" in Hungarian), which symbolises the consideration of ideas on both sides. The name of the project comes from an English acronym: Internet-based Support Collaborative Argumentation-based LEarning in secondary schools.

The GRID project (2006-)

Growing Interest in the Development of Teaching Science

The GRID project, funded within the framework of the EU Socrates Programme, has the objective of creating a network for the exchange of good practice in the field of science teaching in Europe, at the level of decision makers and of schools directly involved in innovation and experimentation in the broad area of science education (including technology and mathematics). The GRID project aims to identify as many innovative projects as possible, but it relies on individuals involved in these projects detailing the innovative projects involved.
