We contribute to environmental sustainability, individual health and well being with solid-state lighting. We foster a global understanding of future lighting solutions by raising awareness, spreading information, communicating breakthroughs in scientific research and industry, supporting lighting programs and facilitating social development activities.

Luger Research, with its headquarters in Dornbirn, Austria, is a media, event and research organization that supports the global lighting industry with information about trends and technologies for future lighting solutions. The company was founded in 2001, with a focus on research and consulting. In 2006 the LED professional publications were added and finally, in 2011, the LED professional Symposium +Expo was introduced. Today Luger Research co-operates with multiple lighting organizations, scientific, event and media partners around the globe.

Events

Luger Research is the organizer of the LED professional Symposium +Expo (LpS). As a partner of Messe Muenchen, Luger Research also organizes the bi-annual Lighting Forums at electronica and productronica.

The LpS is an annual event and meeting point for experts from international lighting industries and research, which takes place at the Festspielhaus in Bregenz, Austria. With about 60 lectures, several workshops, 1,500 expected visitors and around 100 exhibitors, this event is one of the world’s leading lighting technology conferences. The sixth LpS will cover trends and technologies for future lighting solutions under the motto: Smart Technologies for Lighting Innovations from Sept. 20th to 22nd, 2016

The electronica Lighting Forum consists of a full day of lectures and discussions with international authorities in the field of Solid-State-Lighting. The forum will take place from November 8th to 11th, 2016, in Munich, Germany.

Vorarlberg - a part of Austria between Lake Constance and the Arlberg. Vorarlberg is Austria’s westernmost state. With an area of 2,600 square kilometers it accounts for 3% of Austria’s total land area. Extending 95 kilometers from north to south, Vorarlberg is, however, unparalleled in its diversity of European landscape forms. From the “Mediterranean” shores of Lake Constance (400 m altitude) over softly rolling hills, visitors can reach glacier-topped peaks (3,000 m altitude) just within an hour’s drive.

Kongresskultur Bregenz is an international convention and event center located right on the shores of Lake Constance in Austria (in the Bregenz Festival House building). It has established itself as an attractive location for events of all kinds with about 400,000 visitors annually. In addition to cultural, social and corporate events in recent years, it has been able to demonstrate particular expertise as a promoter and organizer of international conferences and meetings. As a result, the Bregenz Festival House was chosen by the International Association of Congress Centres (AIPC) as one of the top three convention centers in the world in 2004 and 2010. In 2011, the European Association of Event Centres (EVVC) elected it the best convention center in its category in Europe.
