LED Tape Light Partner with a Trusted and Experienced Industry Leader. ITC approaches tape light design like we do all of our LED fixtures! We design LED lighting under very stringent guidelines appropriate for application specific environments that maintains its performance over time. Our quality reputation has allowed us to become a trusted supplier to many key organizations outside traditional marine and RV markets such as Princess Cruise Line, Disney Theme Parks, Herman Miller, ThyssenKrupp Elevator and Walgreens. ITC flexible LED tape light uses a higher quality coating/sealer on the light strip. ITC quality sealer is superior to that used in commodity tape light because of its resistance to UV light as well its exceptional protection against cracking in extreme temperature environments [-20°C to +80°C]. A lower quality sealer allows degradation to the LED which can lead to shifts in color and light output. ITC uses a higher quality LED allowing our tape light strips to achieve more lumens per watt and more consistent lumen and color maintenance over long term use. ITC LED tape light passes stringent LM79 testing standards to show each LED strip remains within 5% of its original lumen and color output after 1,000 hours of use. ITC tape light is UL listed. A precision machinery application of all glue and silicone provides a consistant and relyable IP64 watertight seal. ITC tape light passes independent IP64 lab testing assuring its water resistance. An IP64 rating is appropriate for RV exterior applications such as hitch light and awning light applications. ITC has been the leading supplier of exterior application tape light in the RV market with excellent field results. ITC product uses heavier copper trace on PCB ribbon as compared to competitive tape lights. Heavier trace helps maintain voltage over the length of a long run so that the light output at the end of a 5 meter run is the same as at the beginning of the run. ITC also creates a more rigid and robust product that does not result in sections loosing power due to damaged trace. Damaged trace is a common problem within the tape light industry due to the flexing and bending that occurs at the time of installation. ITC specifies resistor values that are appropriate for 13.6v input as opposed to the common industry standard that uses resistor values for 12v input. As a result, when powered by an RV converter at 13.6v the 12v products are overdriven which can contribute to failures over time. Also, the resistors are specified specifically for appropriate bending to the copper trace to prevent cracking and separation. ITC tape light uses 18awg wire input leads which adheres to RVIA code requirements and is easier to work with and connect to making for an easier installation process. All ITC tape light product passes a 2-hour burn-in quality test as well as shock and vibration tests to ensure there are no production or assembly defects prior to shipping. ITC offers a complete line of tape light options including standard, forward facing, fully sealed, diffused, and side emitting versions. Learn more at www.itc-us.com [REV DEC2013]

Learn more at www.itc-us.com
