Leaguecraft 101 – Advanced Mechanics + Bot Lane



*CAPITOLISING ON MISTAKES*



Vayne

• You are left purely to your own mechanical decisions.

• Playing Vayne is about capitolising on your opponents mistakes and it is the only way you will get ahead in lane.

• You are a God in mid/late game.

• You must be able to master attack move, last hitting and trading.



*RESPECTING ZONES*



Zones

• Every champion has a circle.

• If you stand on the same line as your support, you will always be able to follow up on their harrass.

• Microdecision – Who is in my zone? Is my AD Carry in my zone?

*MANIPULATING LANE

MOMENTUM*



Pushing

• High ELO players will almost always push the lane. Why?

• Denies CS to tower

• Allows you to harrass them when they kill the range creeps.

• Applies pressure.



Slow Push

• Great for the late game.

• Allows you to conduct the trades when you want.

• Facilitates Dives.

• Lower ELO players will typically not push, as it is difficult for them to get every CS while pushing.



Freezing

• Keeps the creep wave pushing towards you in the place where you want it.

• If you are ahead in lane and the opportunity presents itself, decide whether or not to take it.



Last hitting while pushing

• Very difficult.

• Essential at higher levels of play.


Leaguecraft 101 – Advanced Mechanics + Bot Lane Calling the Jungler

• If you are on tower, call the jungler because you have to make a

play.

• Typical mentality when you are behind…

• How are you possibly going to get ahead, if they have ward control, tower control and you are farming under pressure.

• Pray that they throw is not a valid strategy.



*LANE MATCHUPS*



Ezreal • Struggles against pushing.

• Has a very strong lvl 2.



Cait • Wants to push the lane.

• Pros – Has insane range.

• Cons – Weak to all ins • If pushed, she has to use her mana on creeps.

• Very weak after shop. Eg. Vayne vs Cait



*SUPPORT IN LANE*



Masteries • 0-13-17 OR 1-13-16

• Block is amazing.

• Pickpocket is amazing.



Runes • Armour reds

• Armour yellows

• Mr/Manaregen Blues

• GP10 Quints



Thresh and Lulu • Amazing trades.

• Both are effective under the enemy turret.

• Both facilitate ganks amazingly.

• 2 Pinks, 3 Pots, 2 Greens



Lulu vs Taric • Identify when you are stronger

• Enemy is camping the bush – Push it out and pink that bush.

• Enemy is pushing – Farm under turret and call jungler

• Lvl 1, 2, 4, 6



When to ward • Warding is best done when the enemy AD is under tower.

• They have to prioritise minions.



Trading scenarios • The best time to trade is when they go for a back minion.

• If they trade back on you, AD must be ready to hit their AD.

• The WORST thing you can do is BOTH RUN.



Trading combos with Lulu • Attack move, attack move

• Hit E, then Q.
