CITIZEN COMMENTS I think the sign should be changed to "Road is closed to thru traffic, unless you are an idiot and want to try anyway"

“over-kill and a death trap. It will be a place where you will have head on collisions. If at some point the firemen cannot get through the maze that is being put in and someone dies because of a few seconds, I believe the city will get sued.”

I couldn’t believe that you and the rest of the council fell for what Dan Hartman said at the meeting a few months ago! And I can’t believe that you feel that speeds MUST be reduced to 15-20 mph in the middle of that block. What Dan said about putting in SIX raised crosswalks – four in the middle of the unpopulated block – was CRAZY, absolutely CRAZY! You only need to slow traffic at the intersections.

THE GALLUP WELL-BEING INDEX: WHAT IS WELL-BEING?

Copyright © 2015 Gallup, Inc. All rights reserved.

High well-being means a life well-lived — all the things that are important to each of us, what we think about and how we experience our lives.

Well-being comprises five elements — and all five are interrelated and interdependent.

Purpose: Liking what you do each day and being motivated to achieve your goals

Social: Having supportive relationships and love in your life

Financial: Managing your economic life to reduce stress and increase security

Community: Liking where you live, feeling safe and having pride in your community

Physical: Having good health and enough energy to get things done daily
