Bottle Presence & Reject Verification Sensors Maintains ALPS standard functions
24 VDC Control Enclosure Standard controls provided with ALPS NexGen Rotary
Optional Turntable Vacuum (Patent #7,559,232) Enhances detection of smaller pinholes in the base of flat-bottom containers (e.g. Hot Fill PET)
ALPS is focused on manufacturing on-line container leak inspection systems and has specialized in high speed rotary technology since 1985.
Custom Leak Testing Turrets can be provided for OEM’s to integrate leak inspection within a rotary machine performing other operations. Examples include rotary bottle trimmers, rinsers, labelers, detergent spout inserters, unscramblers, or blow molding machines.

Standard Utility Requirements
ALPS is the leading North American manufacturer of high speed container leak inspection systems. Our current installed base of machines has capacity to test approximately 50 billion containers annually.
The technology is based on the ALPS NexGen Rotary control system, including ALPS Leak Test Controllers and the interfacing electronics. The OEM supplies the machine drive and container handling to and from the turret.

ENCODER MOUNT
The following components are supplied to the OEM equipment manufacturer for integration with their monoblock:• A turret with the required number of leak test stations, including hand-crank height adjustment for container height changeovers. The diameter and head spacing can be customized if necessary.• Color Touch Screen Interface enclosure to provide a terminal to the customer for set-up and review of the leak test performance• Electrical slip ring for communication of signals to rotary platform• Rotary union for connection of air supply to the turret• Encoder to mount to the OEM equipment, for purposes of timing the leak test and reject device• Bottle Presence and Reject Verification Sensors for the OEM to mount• 24 VDC control enclosure including ALPS microprocessor-based controller board for communications with the test heads, leak testing, I/O, power supplies, etc.• The ALPS Turntable Vacuum Systems (Patent #7,559,232) can also be supplied, which enhances detection of smaller pinholes in the base f flat- bottom containers e.g. for Hot Fill PET
