The single biggest problem in communication is

the illusion that it has taken place.

How to Effectively Communicate

Don’t beat around the bush.

Be assertive & clear in your

verbal and online/written

communication.

(But be kind.)

Content isn’t king—context

is king: Connect the dots

with your team’s priorities

and objectives.

Make it make sense.

Send random texts, emails,

DMs and IMs just to say

you’re here for them.Don’t forget to use the

phone or a webcam!

How to Effectively Communicate

A verbose or overly wordy

communicating style is

unappealing: Work towards

finding the appropriate

volume in your messaging.

Don’t dumb down or water

down your message:

Straight talk is the best

method. Be open, honest,

transparent and timely.Do not use solely one

medium.

Remember to use anything

at your disposal.

The art of better

communication is stopping

to check in on the process

of communication itself.

PEG: Pause. Examine. Go.

Don’t just react. Don’t hide and say nothing.

Pause and reflect, examine what you might

communicate, and then take action and go!

AND FINALLY…
