Leadership Master Classes

Leadership Master Classes offer managers and leaders the opportunity to engage with the Leadership Attributes Framework. Master Classes will enable the development of a shared understanding of the challenges of leadership, providing engagement and discussion with the different aspects of leadership within a University context.

The Master Classes series designed for grade 5, 6 and 7 leaders may be particularly beneficial to new and existing managers who are not currently on other University Leadership Development Pro-grammes

The Senior Leader Master Class series provides an opportunity for grade 8+ leaders to relate learn-ing to real practical challenges; for example, translating strategy into action, interpreting the expec-tations of stakeholders, managing performance at organisational and individual levels, and relating effectively to colleagues through a senior leadership role.

Each Master Class promises to be participative, stimulating, challenging and enjoyable.

Wednesday 2nd April 2014, 09:30 – 12:30 hours

It will consider three important facts; we all make mistakes, intentions are complex and that we/our organisation may have contributed to the problem.

OutcomesBy the end of the Master Class you will have:

Explored how to recognise when others are trying to ‘hook’ your reactions
