Theme: “LIVE THE ANIMO THROUGH FAITH, SERVICE AND COMMUNION”
Amen.

Lasallian Core Value: COMMUNION
Graduate Attribute: Future Leaders The commitment to association is deeply ingrained in the fabric of the Lasallian heritage. From the very beginning, De La Salle, the leader, realized that the schools would become successful and sta-ble only to the extent that the teachers were united with a common vision, a shared dedication, and a supportive community. From his first encounters with the first teachers, De La Salle worked to knit his teachers into a religiously animated group of educators who worked together and by association.
In the important aspects of their life, the Brothers worked together in a particular way. They discussed and dealt with school methodologies, community affairs and common concerns in a way that was largely unlike that of their contemporary religious orders. De La Salle provided a kind of leadership that trusted both in God’s Providence as well as in the best intentions of his Brothers. An early biographer writes that De La Salle “had resolved to introduce nothing by authority and wished to give them attraction for virtue without constraint.” Thus when we think of the Lasallian as a future leader, we think of one, who is like De La Salle, inspires a sense of unity of purpose in the group. The leadership we envision is one that is collaborative and one that empowers the members of the group to contribute and have a sense of ownership over the group’s directions and decisions.

January 4, 2016 Dear LSGH Community, A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!
We welcome this New Year with a major school event named “Berdeng KapatiRUN 2016 – The EDSA Trenta Edition” that will bring together the students, parents, family members, friends and personnel of La Salle Green Hills (LSGH) on Sunday, February 28, 2016 inside Camp Aguinaldo in Quezon City. In a spirit of kinship and oneness, this educational and wholesome fun run aims to raise funds for scholarships and for medical assistance for our faculty and staff. Berdeng KapatiRUN 2016 – The EDSA Trenta Edition is a flagship fund-raising activity of
the Faculty Associations of LSGH Grade School, High School and Adult Night High School, the LSGH Support Staff Club, the LSGH Student Activities Coordinating Board (SACB) and the Institutional Communication & Advancement Office (ICAO). Proceeds of this event will go to the LSGH Scholarship Endowment Fund to provide scholarships to our Adult Night High School, day school scholars including children of fallen military soldiers. The event will also augment the medical assistance fund of our personnel.
For this year’s run, we have adopted the theme of EDSA Trenta to commemorate the 30th EDSA People Power Anniversary. There will be three race events, 3K, 5K and 10K, to suit everyone’s capability. After the events, some fun activities are lined up for the participants such as food carts and booths offering merchandising items. It is also an opportunity for our students, teachers and staff to have a peek at Camp Aguinaldo’s grounds and have a chance to visit its museum. The fun run will utilize RFID tags for the runners. Each participant will be given a Finisher Medal to keep as souvenir of the event. The usual race bib and singlet will also be part of the runners’ package. Registration fee for participants in any of the events is P500.00 each. Guidelines on the mechanics for the collection of the registration fees by Classroom Advisers, the HRD and other office heads shall be issued by the respective department heads shortly. Let us all join hands in making this event a success to enable LSGH to provide more scholarships to the underserved, and medical assistance to our teachers and support staff. In St La Salle,
