Second Oral Evaluation Guideline

-These are the instructions you must follow to do your oral evaluation:

A. PROCEDURE

1. Prepare a conversation where you will include grammar points and vocabulary words

from the last 3 units of content studied; you will then record it (sound recording – NO

video).

2. To record your conversation, you may work with a classmate or any other person who

could help you out (a friend, a relative, etc.)

3. To record your conversation, you may use any device you feel ok with, but your

recording MUST be saved as an MP3 file as this is the only file type you will be able to

upload on Moodle. *

*A good and easy-to-use choice is the SOUND RECORDER option in laptops - the file

is saved automatically as an MP3 file.

4. You may also use websites like vocaroo.com or the Jing software to record your

conversation. In either case, you will have to upload the link to their recording in the

specified space on Moodle.

5. The conversation must be at least 5 minutes long, but no longer than 10 minutes. In

Moodle, one can upload files that are up to 20 MB big. A 5-minute-long sound file is

about 10 MB, so there shouldn’t be any problem for you when uploading your file.

6. You will need a good enough internet connection to make sure to upload your file

without problems.(if you choose to use vocaroo.com or the Jing software to record your conversation you

will only have 5 minutes to do so (with these 2, one can only record for 5 minutes, no

more)

7. There is no maximum number of examples of grammar points and vocabulary

words/phrases from the 3 units to be evaluated; however, there is a minimum number of

examples you must include per unit in your conversation: 3 sentences using the grammar

point in each unit and 3 vocabulary words/phrases studied in the unit (this means that intotal you would need to include at least 9 sentences with the grammar points studied in

the 3 units and 9 vocabulary words/phrases studied in the units= 18 examples)

8. You must include a copy (in word / pdf) of your conversation and must underline all

examples of grammar points and vocabulary words/phrases from the 3 units studied in

the 2nd partial.

A. PROCEDIMIENTO

-Estas son las instrucciones que deben seguir para realizar su evaluación oral :

1. Ustedes prepararan una conversación en donde incluirán aspectos de gramática y palabras

de vocabulario de las ultimas 3 unidades estudiadas en este Segundo parcial. Luego la

grabaran (en sonido -NO VIDEO)

2. Al grabar su conversación , pueden trabajar con un compañero de clase o alguna otra

persona que puedan ayudarles (un amigo/a , un familiar, etc)

3. Para grabar su conversación pueden utilizar cualquier aparato que ustedes crean más

conveniente y se les haga más fácil. su grabación DEBE ser guardada en archivo MP3,ya que es este tipo de archivo es el único que se puede subir a Moodle.

*Una Buena y fácil opción a usar es el grabador de voz de su laptop, y este ya graba

automáticamente en archivo MP3.

4. También pueden usar los sitios de internet como: vocaroo.com or Jing software para

grabar su conversación en cualquier de estos dos casos deberán subir el link de su

grabación en el espacio indicado donde subirán su evaluación en Moodle.

5. La conversación debe de durar como mínimo 5 minutos, pero no más de 10 minutos.

Moodle solo se pueden subir archivos de menos de 20MB . Por lo tanto un archivo 5minutos equivale casi a 10MB , así que no tendrían ningún problema en subir el archivo.

6. Necesitaran una buena conexión a internet para asegurarse que puedan subir su archivo

sin problemas.( En vocaroo.com o Jing software solo se pueden grabar 5 minutos )

7. No hay máximo de cantidad de ejemplos de aspectos de gramática y de palabras de

vocabulario de las 3 unidades vistas. Sin embargo hay un mínimo de ejemplos a incluirpor cada unidad:

3 oraciones usando aspectos de gramática y 3 palabras/frases de vocabulario en cada

unidad. ( lo cual significa que en total deberá incluir al menos 9 oraciones con susaspectos de gramática estudiadas y 9 palabras/frases de vocabulario estudiadas en las tresunidades. = 18 ejemplos en total)

8. Y para finalizar deben de incluir una copia de la conversación completa (como la grabo)en Word/ PDF en las cual deberán subrayar todos los ejemplos mencionados en el punto
