    VivoMiles is the KSSC rewards system which allows teachers and non-teaching staff to apoints called Vivos for positive work or contributions within the school community.

    5 Vivo miles can be earned each week for 100% attendance and punctuality.A minimum of five Vivos , may be awarded in individual lessons for excellent work, contrib

    according to the five key KSSC PACER qualities.

    Additional Vivos may be awarded for contributions to the whole school and for special awEach half term KSSC will focus on one of the five qualities. There will also be special Vivo

    the year.

    Each Vivo mile is worth 0.01p. You are issued with a VivoMiles online account and reencouraged to check your Vivo balance regularly. You could earn around 45.00 per year

    Check out the online shop to find out what sort of stuff can you spend Vivos on?You can either save them or spend them on a variety of rewards items, such as compproducts, stationery items, mobile top-ups, cinema tickets, end of year activities and the

    All students at KSSC are expected to show good manners, be courteous, punctual and reli

    schools code of conduct. All students are asked to pursue their own goals with enthusiasm b

    for others. You are expected to treat others with sympathy, understanding and tolerance. clear strategies in place for dealing with discipline problems within our school community.

    At KSSC we operate a system of detention and student isolation.

    There are 3 types of detentions that would be used by your teachers.

    1.Subject Detention - administered by the Class Teacher 10 minutes - without notice. A lminutes) accompanied by a detention notification to parents/carers. Awarded for faacceptable amount of work ,low level inappropriate behaviour in lessons which may inte

    others or which inhibits their right to enjoy being at school.

    2.Faculty Detention [Wednesdays] - administered by Heads of Faculty - 1 hour duration detention notification to parents/carers. Awarded for displaying inappropriate behaviou

    does not change after warnings or minor sanctions have been applied.

    3.Achievement Team Detention - administered by Achievement Leader / Assistant Achiminutes - during Break 1 or Break 2. Awarded for an accumulation of negative logs, punc

    outside the classroom.

    The Education Act 2011, removed the requirement of schools to give 24 hours notice befo

    take place. At KSSC we will inform your parents/carers in advance of such detentions. How

    detain you on the day of an incident occurring at school, then your parents/carers will be info
