UDASI…MEETS THE NIVASI..

First time Guru Nanak met the Sidhs at the Sumel Parbath he appeared as an Udasi dressed as one and was accompanied by Bala,12 years having left kids and family. BABAI PEKH BANAIYA UDASI DE REET CHALAEE. Then he returned he became gristh, worked, raised a family.

SIDHS ARRIVED TO ACHAL BATALA

The Sidhs would come to this mela and although Guru Sahib had returned to Gristh (family) life he chose to meet the friends he had made in the jungle. By this time, as well as being a householder he had established sangat in Kartarpur. The Sidhs recognised UDASI Guru Nanak and began questions.

From the air came the beginning. This is the age of the True Guru's Teachings.

The Shabad is the Guru, upon whom I lovingly focus my consciousness; I am the chaylaa, the disciple.

Speaking the Unspoken Speech, I remain unattached. O Nanak, throughout the ages, Vaheuru - the Lord of

Baba has discussions with the Sidhs and because of the energy of the shabad those Sidhs attained peace.

Conquering the Sivratri fair Baba made the followers of six philosophies bow. Now, speaking benign words, the Siddhs said, Nanak, your achievement is

great. You, emerging like a greatman in kalyug have diffused the light (of knowledge)

all around. Getting up from that fair, Baba went to the pilgrimage of Multan. In Multan, the Peer presented a bowl of milk filled up to brims (which means

That Faqirs here are already in plenty). Baba took out a jasmine flower from his bag and floated it on the milk (which

meant that he wasn’t going to put anybody to trouble). It was such a scene as if the Ganges were merging into the sea.
