Aufgrund der Besonderheit, Objekte komplett inklusive deren Innengeometrien erfassen zu können, besitzt die Röntgen Computertomographie ein enormes Potenzial im Bereich der technischen Messtechnik.Als Ergänzung zu den in der Messtechnik etablierten Verfahren, wie Scannen- und taktile Messdatenbearbeitung, welche weitestgehend in PointMaster schon integriert sind, können Anwender von PointMaster V 5.0 nun auch Voxeldaten aller herkömmlichen CT-Anlagen mit sehr leistungsfähigen Funktionen weiterverarbeiten.
