This button enables the recording function when using a wired or wireless microphone. A USB or SDTM memory card is required to use this feature. The audio captured by the microphone, auxiliary, guitar and tuner inputs can be recorded and saved in the memory selected. To start recording, simply press this button once. Press it again to stop the recording. During audio playback, briefly press this button to delete a recorded file. DEL will come up on the screen to confirm this action

1. Plug the AC cable to a wall outlet.2. When the unit is not in use or switched off, it will automatically recharge the internal battery as long as it remains connected to utility power.

1. Turn the volume, echo and mic volume controls on the top panel fully counterclockwise.2. Set the bass and treble equalizer controls to the 12 o’clock position.3. Turn the power switch to the on position.

1. Insert AA batteries into the handheld microphone by carefully unscrewing the base of each one and aligning the “+” and “-“ terminals of the batteries with the corresponding contacts inside the compartment.

2. Turn on the microphone. The speaker will detect the device automatically.3. When not in use, switch the wireless microphone off to conserve battery power.

Using the wireless microphone

a. Use the supplied audio cable to connect the speaker to external audio devices through the Auxiliary input located on the back panel.

b. If the speaker is not set to the AUX IN, press the MODE button until the corresponding input mode is found.

c. When the AUX indicator is displayed on the screen, you can start streaming audio directly from compatible multimedia sources.

d. Please note that the forward and backward song selection is not available on this mode.

4. How to use the recording feature

a. Insert an SDTM card or USB memory stick into the corresponding slot.b. The device will automatically play any music in MP3 format stored on the memory.

1. Press the MODE button briefly to toggle through the available audio sources and select FM. 2. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start scanning for radio stations automatically, in the frequency range

between 87.5 and 108.0MHz. 3. Once the search is complete, the unit will save active stations automatically. 4. Use the and to select stored channels.

1. First, make sure to have a microphone connected to the MIC input.2. Insert a compatible USB or memory card into the corresponding port, and press the MODE button to

select USB/SDTM.3. If the USB/SDTM card is plugged into the speaker for the first time, this will automatically create a folder

named RECORD to save the files. 4. When you are ready, press the REC button to enable recording. The current sound output will stop, and

the RED mode will be activated. 5. The device starts recording once the screen displays the timer. Press once more when you wish to stop. 6. To discard a recording, first go to REC Play Mode. Select the recording you wish to eliminate followed by

Delete.

Note: Before installing this product, please make sure your device is compatible with Bluetooth®.

1. Enable the Bluetooth® feature on the selected source and set it to discover the wireless speaker.2. Place your wireless device and the speaker not more than one meter away from each other.3. Next, cycle to the Bluetooth® feature on the speaker by pressing the MODE button found on the media

panel and select it as the input source. The BT symbol blinks fast on the display to indicate that the speaker has entered into the pairing mode.

4. Once the speaker appears listed (KLS-640) under the newly found Bluetooth® devices of your wireless device, it will ask if you want to pair with it.

5. Accept by pressing Yes or Ok. If you have a lower Bluetooth® version, you may be prompted to enter the passkey 0000 (4 zeros).

6. When pairing is successful, the BT symbol stops blinking indicating that the wireless connection has been established. If after 60 seconds the pairing process fails, please repeat steps 1 through 5 described above.

7. You can now start streaming audio through the speaker wirelessly from your favorite Bluetooth®- enabled devices.

8. The speaker will re-pair automatically to the memorized device when the BT mode is selected on the unit after being turn off and on again.

Control remoto

2. Interruptor de iluminación: Enciende y apaga las luces LED. Asegúrese de encender las luces sólo cuando la unidad se haya conectado por completo.

3. Entrada auxiliar: Conecte un reproductor de CD, un reproductor de medios digitales o cualquier otra fuente de audio en estos conectores de entrada estéreo.

Carga de la batería

1. Gire los controles del volumen principal, de eco y el volumen del micrófono ubicados en el panel superior hasta la posición extrema de la izquierda.

1. Inserte las baterías AA en el micrófono de mano desenroscando la base y alineando las terminales “+” y “-“ de las pilas con los contactos correspondientes dentro del compartimiento.

Nota: Antes de instalar este producto, debe asegurarse de que su dispositivo tenga la función Bluetooth® incorporada.

1. Habilite la función Bluetooth® en su dispositivo de audio y prográmelo para detectar el altoparlante inalámbrico.

2. Recuerde colocar su dispositivo inalámbrico y el altoparlante a no más de un metro de distancia entre sí.3. A continuación, presione el botón de MODO en el panel de medios para seleccionar Bluetooth® como la

fuente de entrada de audio. El símbolo BT parpadea rápidamente para indicar que el parlante ha iniciado el proceso de emparejamiento.

4. Una vez que el altoparlante aparece en la lista de dispositivos Bluetooth® (KLS-640) recién detectados en su dispositivo inalámbrico, le preguntará si desea integrarlo al sistema.

5. Pulse Sí u Ok para aceptar. En caso de contar con una versión Bluetooth® inferior, es posible que se le pida ingresar la clave 0000 (4 ceros).

6. Cuando el proceso de emparejamiento concluye en forma exitosa, el símbolo BT aparece permanentemente en la pantalla para indicar que se ha establecido la conexión inalámbrica. Si después de un intervalo de 60 segundos no logra emparejar el dispositivo, repita los pasos del 1 al 5 del procedimiento anterior.

7. Ahora puede comenzar a reproducir música en forma inalámbrica desde sus dispositivos favoritos con tecnología Bluetooth® .

8. El parlante restablece la conexión en forma automática con dispositivos registrados cuando lo vuelve a encender tras haber sido apagado.

a. Use cable suministrado para conectar el parlante a dispositivos de audio externos a través de la entrada Auxiliar ubicada en el panel posterior.

b. Si el parlante no estuviera ajustado en AUX IN, presione el botón de MODO hasta encontrar el modo de entrada correspondiente.

c. Cuando aparezca el indicador AUX en la pantalla, podrá comenzar a reproducir el audio directamente de fuentes multimedia compatibles.

d. Cabe hacer notar que los controles para avanzar o retroceder pistas no está disponible en este modo.

a. Inserte una tarjeta SDTM o memoria USB en la ranura correspondiente.b. El dispositivo automáticamente comenzará a tocar melodías en formato MP3 almacenadas en la memoria.

1. Presione brevemente el botón de MODO para alternar entre las distintas fuentes de audio disponibles y seleccione FM.

2. Presione el botón REPRODUCCIÓN /PAUSA para iniciar la búsqueda automática de estaciones de radio, comprendidas entre las frecuencias de 87.5 y 108.0 MHz

3. Una vez finalizada la búsqueda, la unidad guardará las estaciones activas en forma automática.4. Use los botones y para seleccionar los canales programados.

4. Utilización del modo de grabación

1. Cerciórese primero de haber conectado un micrófono en la entrada MIC de la unidad.2. Inserte una memoria USB o tarjeta compatible en el puerto respectivo y presione el botón de MODO para

seleccionar USB/SDTM.3. Si es la primera vez que inserta la tarjeta USB/SDTM en el altoparlante, el sistema creará una carpeta

denominada RECORD para guardar los archivos. 4. Cuando esté listo, presione el botón REC para habilitar la grabación. Lo anterior interrumpirá el audio de

salida que esté escuchando, para activar en su lugar el modo del MICRÓFONO. 5. El dispositivo comienza a grabar cuando la pantalla despliega el temporizador. Cuando desee detener la

grabación, presione este botón una vez más. 6. Para descartar un archivo, active primero el Modo de reproducción de grabación REC Play. Seleccione la

grabación que desea eliminar y luego oprima Delete para borrarlo.
