a. The finacial data is obtained from Office DPPKAD of Kepu-

lauan Mentawai

6. Regional Income

a. The Metodology for estimating the Regional Income fol-

lows the United Nations Guidance Book, adjusted to the

Indonesian condition. There are three approaches for meas-

uring Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP).They are pro-

duction, income and expenditure approaches. The production

approach is mostly used for measuring Kepulauan Mentawai

Selatan Regency (GRDP)

b. Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) is simply defined as

total gross value added of an economy.

c. Net Regional Domestic Product (NRDP) is GRDP minus total

depreciation of fixed capital goods utilized during one year.

d. Net Regional Domestic Product (NRDP) at factor cost is NRDP

at market prices minus net indirect . Taxes the net regional

domestic product at factor cost assumed as net regional prod-

uct or regional income, as there were no information on net

factor incomes

e. Per capita regional income is regional income divided by mid

year population

f. The statistic of regional income are distinguished into two

form. Those are at current market prices and constant 2000

market prices. In the presentation at current market prices, all

product agregates are valued at yearly current prices. In the

crops is collected on a quarterly basis. Harvested area of

vegetable is limited to only those which are harvested once

Each parcel represent 100 hectare of harvested area. The

officers are officers of crops Extension Services in sub district

level and District Coordinator of Statistic.

d. Production of paddy and secondary food crops is in term of

a. Data on Electricity are collected from state-owned electricity

company (PLN) which supplies a large portion of the demand

for electricity

1. Population and Labor Force

a. Population Growth Rate is the rate at which population is

increasing (or decreasing) in a given year and expressed as a

percentage of the base year population

b. Sex ratio is the ratio of males to female population in a given

region and year usually expressed as the number of males for

every 100 females.

c. Man power is defined as the population attaining the age of a

group of person aged 10 years and over who are assumed

have ability to work.

d. Labor force is part of the man power that is realy employed un

- employed but looking for jobs.

e. Aworking person is defined as The one “ working “ for pay-

ment or profit at least for one hour in a week priov to the

enumerating day . Persons who worked for less than one hour

and who did not work but had permanent jobs, or did not

work because of illness , on vacation , or strike , and farmer

who did not work because they were waiting for harvesting

time, were also defined as to be working.

Dimana buku ini menunjukkan bahwa pembangunan di Kabupaten Kepulauan

Mentawai telah memberikan hasil yang lebih baik dari tahun-tahun yang lalu.

Buku “Kepulauan Mentawai Dalam Tahun Angka 2009” menyajikan data

statistik pembangunan yang merupakan kesinambungan data tahun-tahun

yang lalu. Dengan demikian dapat dijadikan bahan bagi dinas/SKPD/instansi

untuk mengevaluasi kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan dan yang lebih penting

lagi adalah sebagai bahan acuan dalam mengambil kebijaksanaan dan

perencanaan untuk tahun-tahun yang akan datang.

Dengan terbitnya buku ini, kami mengucapkan terima kasih kepada

dapat diartikan sebagai keseluruhan nilai tambah Bruto dari

kegiatan perekonomian disuatu wilayah

c. Produk Domestik Regional Netto (PDRN) adalah PDRB dikurangi

penyusutan atas barang-barang modal tetap yang digunakan

selama setahun.

d. Produk Regional Netto atas biaya faktor produksi PDRN

dikurangi pajak tak langsung neto, yang diasumsikan sama

dengan Pendapatan Regional, karena penadapatan netto dari

luar wilayah belum mungkin dihitung karena keterbatasan

data.

e. Pendapatan Regional Perkapita adalah Produk Regional Netto

atas dasar biaya faktor produksi dibagi dengan jumlah

penduduk pertengahan tahun.

f. Penyajian Pendapatan regional dibedakan atas harga yang

berlaku dan harga konstan 2000. Untuk penyajian atas dasar

harga berlaku semua agregat pendapatan dinilai atas dasar

harga berlaku pada tahun penghitungan. Untuk penyajian atas

dasar harga konstan, setiap produk barang dan jasa dinilai

dengan harga tetap yang terjadi dalam tahun dasar (2000)

of Kepulauan Mentawai Regency has contributed better result from year to

year.

“Kepulauan Mentawai in Figures Year 2009” present Statistics data of

development which is the continuation of previous years data. So that, this book

is prepared to help offices/SKPD/institutions to evaluate activities which has

been done. And the most important, it could be a reference to determine policy

and planning for the future.

Thanks to CentralBoard of Statistic Kepulauan Mentawai and Regional

Development Planning Board of Kepulauan Mentawai Regency and of course to

KATA PENGANTAR

Publikasi ‘Buku Kabupaten Kepulauan Mentawai Dalam Angka’ adalah

merupakan publikasi tahunan yang diselenggarakan oleh Badan Pusat Statistik

Kabupaten Kepulauan Mentawai bekerjasama dengan Badan Perencenaan

Pembangunan Daerah Kabupaten Kepulauan Mentawai.

Seperti tahun yang lalu, di dalam buku Kepulauan Mentawai Dalam Angka

Tahun 2009 ini disajikan berbagai jenis data statistik baik data primer maupun

data sekunder keadaan tahun 2009 yang dihimpun dari Dinas/SKPD/Instansi

serta lembaga lainnya di Kabupaten Kepulauan Mentawai dan judul buku ini

sesuai tahun datanya.

Bila dibandingkan dengan publikasi tahun-tahun sebelumnya, berbagai

upaya perbaikan telah dilakukan, terutama perbaikan dan penyempurnaan

data, sehingga data yang disajikan dapat memberikan yang lebih baik dan

lengkap.

Kami menyadari, bahwa apa yang disajikan dalam buku ini mungkin

belum dapat memenuhi keinginan para konsumen data yang sangat beragam,

namun dengan adanya buku ini diharapkan dapat membantu para perencana,

pengambil keputusan dan semua pihak konsumen data.

g. Perkara yang dicakup meliputi perkara perdata yang telah

diajukan ke muka sidang pengadilan

a. Data Luas Panen tanaman pangan dicatat dari seluruh

kecamatan setiap bulan oleh aparat bidang Tanaman Pangan

Dinas Pertanian, Peternakan dan Perkebunan di kecamatan,

pengecualian luas panen buah-buahan yang dilaporkan setiap

triwulan.

b. Data luas panen produksi sayuran yang dicatat adalah yang

dipanen sekaligus.

c. Produksi per hektar padi, ubi jalar, kacang tanah, kacang

kedelai diperoleh melalui sampel survei ubinan mewakili

sekitar 100 hektar luas panen. Petugas pelaksana adalah Koor-

dinator Statistik Kecamatan dan Aparat Dinas Pertanian

Tanaman Pangan di Kecamatan.

d. Pelaksanaan ubinan disesuaikan dengan waktu panen

e. Bentuk Produksi padi dan palawija : Padi dalam bentuk gabah kering giling Jagung dalam bentuk pipilan kering Ubi kayu dan ubi jalar dalam keadaan basah Kacang-kacangan dalam keadaan biji kering.

f. Perhitungan produksi padi dan palawija ini merupakan

kerjasama antara Ditjen Tanaman Pangan Departemen

Pertanian dan BPS sampai ke daerah, yang dilakukan melalui

beberapa estimasi

g. Data Statistik kehutanan, peternakan, perikanan dan

perkebunan rakyat bersumber dari Dinas yang bersangkutan

which held by Statistics Center Board of Kepulauan Mentawai Regency and

Regional Planning Development Board of Kepulauan Mentawai Regency.

Like previous year, Kepulauan Mentawai in Figures Year 2009 contain of

various statistics data, primary data and secondary data condition during 2009,

which gathered from government institutions and other organizations in

Kepulauan Mentawai Regency and the book’s title according to year of data.

If compared with earlier publications, this publication has experienced

some reparations and improvements, so that it can provide better and more

complete data.

We realize, this publication still can not fulfil all consumers will however,

the existence of this book is expected can help the planners, decision makers

and all data consumers.

1. Penduduk dan Angkatan Kerja

a. Rata – rata pertumbuhan penduduk adalah angka yang

menunjukkan tingkat pertambahan penduduk pertahun

dalam jangka waktu tertentu, angka ini dinyatakan sebagai

persentase kenaikan dari penduduk pada tahun dasar.

b. Rasio Jenis Kelamin ( Sex Ratio ).Adalah perbandingan antara

banyaknya penduduk laki – laki dengan bayaknya penduduk

perempuan pada suatu daerah dan waktu tertentu. Biasanya

dinyatakan dengan banyaknya penduduk laki-laki untuk 100

penduduk perempuan.

c. Tenaga Kerja ( Man Power) adalah Penduduk berumur 10

yang benar - benar terlibat / bekerja atau berusaha untuk

terlibat dalam kegiatan tersebut.

e. Definisi pekerja yang digunakan BPS pada Sensus Penduduk

2000 dan survei- survei lainnya adalah mereka yang sedang

melakukan kegiatan dengan maksud memperoleh

penghasilan. Batasan yang digunakan adalah paling sedikit

bekerja satu jam berturut-turut selama seminggu sebelum

pencacahan. Bagi mereka yang tidak bekerja karena cuti dan

lain-lain, serta petani yang sementara tidak bekerja karena

menunggu panen, tetap dimasukkan sebagai bekerja

walaupun seminggu sebelum pencacahan sedang tidak

bekerja.
