Rodeo Day - 12th June (Note change of date)

Students are keen to organise a fun

morning to raise funds for Hayley

Wisemantel. It starts with a hobby horse –

Start preparing – Students will need them

for the barrel races! There are some great

easy ideas on google.

Across the school

We are trying to remember to post more

regularly on See Saw for parent viewing.

Over the past weeks classes have been

working hard publishing narrative and

persuasive texts on a variety of topics.

Proofreading and editing work have been

a primary focus. Improvements have been

evident across classes, with students

enjoying the sharing of work.

For the Year 5/6 class, times table facts up

to ten should be instantaneous. If not, get

practising!

Sporting Schools Grant

Over the next weeks we have organised

Thursday rugby sessions through Gary

Walsh and the Sporting Schools Funding.

Now the weather has cooled down,

students should enjoy this outdoor sporting

activity.

Parent Feedback

Please contact me with any concerns or if

you might like to just have a chat. I am off

class Monday afternoon and most Fridays.

As always we welcome Parent Feedback

– Positive as well as negative!

School Play

This year’s School Play will be Charlie and

the Chocolate Factory. We are presently

organising scripts and hope to start script

reading over the next couple of weeks.

Rotary Art Show

Congratulations to all the students who

entered the Annual Uralla Rotary Art Show

held in March. Angus Swales received a

First Prize for his artwork and Amy White

received a Second Prize.
