Secrets of the Siththars – "Mantras that tie up the body"

The panjapootham* are governed by the planets and the rulers who govern the eight directions. The body which is comprised of the panjapootham has to be under the control of them only. The Siththars believed that any human can act specially and independently only if we get out of that control. This post is about the clarity and search for it.

The mantras that tie up the body involves two stages. First is to relieve our body from the powers of the Universal energies and then to protect that body after getting relieved. Agathiyar has very clearly told about these mantras in “Panniru Kaandam” and “Maanthreega Kaaviyam”. There are mantras for each planet and the rulers of the eight directions.

Now let us see those mantras related to the nine planets. Agathiyar says that only after succeeding with one mantra, we got to move to the next one.

The mantra related to the Sun

"உருவ�க �%த்�� செ�ய்வ�ய் அருக்கன்கட்டுuruvaaga siththi seyvaai arukkankattuஉத்�மாதோ! அம் ஹீம் என்று �ட்�ம்uththamanae am heem enru latcham��ருவ�க செ�ப*த்துவர கட்டுத்தீரும்thiruvaaga sepiththuvara kattuththeerum"

Agathiyar says that to get relieved from the control of sun, we should chant “Am Heem” for 100,000 times.

The mantra related to the Moon

"செஜயம் செபற்ர �ந்��ர!�ர் கட்டுத் தீரjeyam petra santhiranaar kattuth theeraஅருவ�க ஹீம் உறீம் என்று �ட்�ம்aruvaaga heem ureem enru latchamஅன்ப�க செ�ப*த்துவர கட்டுத்தீரும்anbaaga sepiththuvara kattuththeerum"

Agathiyar says that to get relieved from the control of moon, we should chant “Heem Ureem” for 100,000 times.

The mantra related to the Mars

"நி�ருவ�கமா�! செ�வ்வ�ய் கட்டுத் தீரniruvaagamaana sevvaai kattuth theeraஸ்ரீம் றீங் நி�% மா�% செயன்று �ட்�ம் தோப�தோடsreem reeng nasi masi yenru latcham poade"

Agathiyar says that to get relieved from the control of mars, we should chant “Sreem Reeng Nasi Masi” for 100,000 times.

The mantra related to the Mercury

"என்றுநீ பு�ன்கட்டுத் தீரக்தோகளுenrunee puthankattuth theerakkaeluஇன்பமுடன் வங் யங் நி�%மா�% செயன்று �ட்�ம்inbamudan vang yang nasimasi yenru latchamநின்றுஉருச் செ�ப*த்��டதோவ கட்டுத் தீரும்nanruuruch sepiththidavae kattuth theerum"

Agathiyar says that to get relieved from the control of mercury, we should chant “Vang Yang Nasi Masi” for 100,000 times.

The mantra related to the Jupiter

"நி�ட்டமுள்ள குருகட்டு தீரக் தோகளுnaattamulla kurukattu theerak kaeluஅன்றுநீ ஸ்ரீம் றீம் நி�%மா�% செயன்று�ட்�ம்anrunee sreem reem nasimasi yenrulatchamஅன்ப�க செ�ப*த்��க்க�ல் கட்டுத்தீரும்

Agathiyar says that to get relieved from the control of Jupiter,  we should chant “Sreem Reem Nasi Masi” for 100,000 times.

Agathiyar says that to get relieved from the control of the Venus, we should chant “Ereem Reem Nasi Masi” for 100,000 times.

The mantra related to the Saturn

"தோப�டுவ�ய் �!�பகவ�ன் கட்டுக்தோகளுpoaduvaai sanibagavaan kattukkaeluபுகழி�! ஸ்ரீம் றூம் றூம் என்று செ��ல்லிpugazhaana sreem room room enru solliதோ�டுவ�ய் �ட்�முருப் தோப�டு தோப�தோடthaeduvaai latchamurup poadu poadae."

Agathiyar says that to get relieved from the control of the Saturn, we should chant “Sreem Room Room” for 100,000 times.

The mantra related to the Raagu

"��றமா�! இர�குவுட கட்டுதீரthiramaana iraaguvuda kattutheera

நி�டுவ�ய் அரீம் ஸ்ரீம் நி�% மா�% என்று�ட்�ம்naaduvaai arIm sreem nasi masi enrulatchamநி�மா�கச் செ�ப*த்துவரக் கட்டுத் தீரும்nalamaagach sepiththuvarak kattuth theerum"

Agathiyar says that to get relieved from the control of the Raagu*, we should chant “Areem Sreem Nasi Masi” for 100,000 times.

The mantra related to the Kaethu

"��டுவ�ய் தோகதுவுட கட்டு தீரsaaduvaai kaethuvuda kattu theera�ர�ய�க அங் �%ங் நி�%மா�% செயன்று�ட்�ம் தோப�தோடsariyaaga ang sing nasimasi yenrulatcham poadae"

Agathiyar says that to get relieved from the control of the Kethu*, we should chant “Ang Nang Nasi Masi” for 100,000 times.

Let us see about the mantras related to Kuligan who is considered as the son of the Saturn told by Agathiyar.

The mantra related to the Kuligan

"நீடுவ�ய் குள�கனுட கட்டுத்தீர்க்கneeduvaai kulikanuda kattuththeerkkaநி�ட்�மா�ய் ஓம் ஐயும் ஐயுசெமா! �ட்�ம்nitsamaai om aiyum aiyumena latchamதீர்ந்துவ*டும் நிவக்க�ரக உடல்கட்டப்ப�theernthuvidum navakkiraga udalkattappaa"

Agathiyar says that to get relieved from the control of the Kuligan, we should chant “Om Aiyum Aiyum” for 100,000 times.

The mantra related to rulers of the eight directions

"ப�ரப்ப� அட்ட��க்குப் ப��கர்க்குப்paarappaa attathikkup paalakarkkupபர�வ�! கட்டுப் பீஜத்தை�க் தோகளுparivaana kattup peejaththaik kaeluசீரப்ப� வீட்�ணி�வ� வ� வீர� ப�ர் ப�ர் என்றும்

Agathiyar says that to get relieved from the control of rulers of the eight directions, we should chant “Veetsanivaa Vaa Veera Paar Paar Puroam Puroam Reeng Kang Sing Sing Mang Tang Reeng Vang Vang Pang Ree Ree Ree Ree Kiraang Mang Raang Raang Vareem Bam Vam” for 1, 00,001 times.

If these mantras are succeeded then our body will be relieved from the control of all the planets, the rulers of the eight directions and the panjapootham and can be controlled by you.

Today we shall see about the way of chanting the mantras that tie up the body narrated by Agathiyar. And also we shall see about how to get mantra, hidden plot of the mantra and the way of chanting it.

"�ருவ�ர்கள் ஓசெமான்ற அட்�ரத்துள்

The “Om” mantra is the beginning for everything.  In this mantra, all the mantras including the lord Siva’s mantra will reside. Also he says that only after chanting "Om" only, we should chant Agathiyar’s mantras.

"அடக்குவ�ய் மாந்��ரத்தை�க் க���ல்தோகளுadakkuvaai manthiraththaik kaathilkaeluஅன்புடதோ! ஓம் என்ற எழுத்தை�ச் தோ�ருanbudanae om enra ezhuththaich saeruவடக்குமுகம் இருந்து�ட்�ம் உருத்��ன்தோப�டுvadakkumugam irunthulatcham uruththaanpoadu"

Agathiyar says, "Learn the mantra, control the mind, consider it as the guru’s advice an listen them through ears and add the Om mantra before everything and face the north and chant the mantra for 100,000 times".

Secrets of the Siththars – Theetchai: An Introduction

This word theetchai or theekkai has got a great importance in the guru disciple tradition. The word theetchai means to purify and increase the quality. Anyone beyond six years is eligible to

attain theetchai. We can find evidences of this theetchai in the Vedas also. In this post we shall see about the theetchai in the tradition of the Siththars.

The Siththars believed that by protecting their body from getting spoiled they can do many special acts. In our life with search and clarifications, in every stage we need the guidance of the guru. The guidance and advice of the guru in each of these stages is considered as theetchai.

Agathiyar in his 'Agathiyar Panniru Kaandam' and 'Agathiyar Kaaviyam' has written about these theetchai. He introduces the theetchai in the following way.

"�யவ�! தீட்தை�வ*��க் க���க�ப்புthayavaana theetchaivithik kaathikaappu��ன்ப�ட வ�ர�ய்ந்து செ�ள�ந்துப�ர்த்துthaanpaada vaaraainthu thelinthupaarththuசெ�ய��! முப்ப�� செரண்டுதீட்தை�seyalaana muppathi rendutheetchai�%த்�� செ�ய்� தோபர்க்செகல்��ம் ஞா�!ம்�%த்�� siththi seytha paerkkellaam gnanamsiththiசுகமா�! ப�வவ*தை! அற்றுப்தோப�கும்sugamaana paavavinai atruppoagumதோ�����%வ ப��மாதை�க் க�ணி��கும்soathisiva paathamathaik kaanalaagumநியமா�க எந்�னுக்கு உபதோ��%த்�nayamaaga enthanukku ubathaesiththaநிற்குமாரன் ��ருவருதோள தீட்ட்தை�க்க�ப்புnarkumaran thiruvarulae theetchaikkaappu."

He says that he is going to tell about the 32 theetchais after a research and clarification. He also says that those who realize this and achieves success will attain wisdom and get rid of sins.  Also they will get the a chance to see the feet of Lord Siva. He says that these were told to him by Lord Muruga.
